Ok. Thanks to the mines I can now power level while hunting a Kasami Bracer, Baranz Parts and a Ruby Bullet once I become strong enough to beat Vol Opt ver.2. I also need to go back through the caves sometimes and get a Red Scorpio/Stag Cutlery which I didn't find on my way to Dal Ral Lie. The only problem is I don't have enough time to go all the way through caves 1 in either addicting food or letter from Lionel.
EDIT:Also, should I be able to beat Vol Opt ver.2?

There's a thread on ultimate vol opt already, check it out.
In the meantime do your caves runs before mines runs, that way once you're done with the caves you can simply be done with them and onto the mines, which give more experience even though they are tougher.

Well, I didn't see the thread for ultimate Vol Opt and I've already beat him. And I have a plan for my hunts now. I'm going to get a Spread Needle by doing Retired Hunter/Docs Secret Plan runs, and then I'm going to go back to the caves and finish up my buisness there. Hopefully by the time I'm done I'll be a sufficient level to finish the mines quickly.

u wanted a ruby bullet right well u get that of vol opt lol 1/23 or sumin chance.i have 2 or 3 now id be hapy to trade with you but make a thread in that forum to do so.and if u wanted a spread needle try completing challenge mode then pick or hoping for a spread needle s-rank.

Well, I now have 5 Spread Needles. And the droprate is 1/57 for the Ruby Bullet.

I hate him on Normal with anything but a Hunter. Unless they don't have a Sword. :'(
