EXP stealing in Ult.
#1
I only recently got into Ult. and I noticed a significant jump in the amount of exp stolen per hit. I'm using a Lord's Raygun and stealing 80 exp/hit. I remember reading somewhere that androids get a boost from exp stealing weapons in Ult., but I could be wrong. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some more details? This is my first character in Ult., so if this is the case with all characters, sorry about the unnescessary posting.

Wow...I wouldn't have guessed it would have been that much either. It really makes leveling up a breeze. I can usually gain 3 or 4 levels in Ult. Forest(level 90 now, was level 71 when I started Ult.).

Androids have an extra 20% added onto EXP stealers. So, King's which does 12% normally, is 32% on an android.

In Ultimate there is also a cap of 80 EXP stolen per hit (60 in VH, 40 in Hard, 20 in Normal).

The main reason the EXP steal jumped up though is that the things in Ultimate give like 3x the EXP of things in VH.

Edit: It's still faster just to kill the enemies though, and then work your way to the boss. The EXP steal specials are diddly in comparison to what the enemies actually give.
Too legit to quit.

I find that as well. You can kill the enemies quickly and go onto newer enemies. Ultimate Forest becomes a breeze quite quickly.

However, if you want a nice easy trick for gaining EXP in Ultimate Forest, find a Mothvist, and kill all of the Mothverts until no more come out. Then, knock the Mothvist to the floor, and wait to see if any more Mothverts appear. If they do, kill them.

When you've exhausted the supply of Mothverts, warp up to Pioneer 2 and back down again, and the Mothvist will respawn, giving you another army of Mothverts to dispatch. This is rather effective, since each Mothvert gives you 140EXP and has little life.

Might have to try that one myself. hmmmm...

wow wow wow... lets face it, was that post really needed? despite the fact you have bumped a page of old topics now, which is frowned upon anyway (read the rules...) most of them seem to be with useless comments that no-one would have been any the worse without.
