I have cheated on almost every game Ive ever owned. From my very first NES GameGenie up to Action Replays & Gamesharks of today.
I loose enjoyment in most games when I cant get past certain "easy" levels or characters. So I Cheat, weather it be by a cheat device or just going online and looking at other peoples strat guides.
I'm really tiffed that I have GC PSO and during a freak power outage I lost 88+ hours of work on just one of my character. And right now I dont have the patients to replay him thru Ultimate in both episodes again...so I bought PSO for the XB and an Action Replay hoping to help me out easier. But atlas it doesn't do what I want to do.
So what should I do? Do I replay 88+ hours on GC or just stay with my XB? I want to do legit but with the area Im at during winter months we get heavy freezes and power outages and I dont want to spend so much time and get zapped again?
What do I do?

Well I will personally say this: I don't believe that recovering ANYTHING lost to FSOD or corruption through AR is illegit. You most definitely didn't ask for this to happen to you.
What I don't understand is this: your sig says you play BB, you say in your post you played GC... but when your GC chars got corrupted you played Xbox? Which is it?
What I would do is one of two things:
1. Use an AR for Gamecube to restore yourself to the level you lost, or else get online and find an illegit to "battle level" you back... or
2. Just have fun raising your chars again. Level 88 really isn't too much work and it can be reached without too much difficulty in a couple of days. That's what I chose to do when I lost my first four characters at 131, 118, 100, and 91. All of them are past their original levels now.
It's up to you really. Just don't ask for or post any AR codes here, this isn't a cheating forum (this board exists to discuss your opinions on it, not to say how to do it).

I know that on the Gamecube PSO some people have used a Battle Levelling cheat. I'm pretty sure if I lost one of my high level characters I'd probably replace the levels through that method.
As far as lost items etc. There are so many duped items floating around now that it wouldn't take long to replace your lost rares. I lost my S Rank Twin to FSOD but my son was able to get a duped replacement within a couple of days from his list of "interesting" friends!

Yeah. Do BA 6 with either a proxy user or a person with the "USE TP ANYWHERE" code. Have them kill you over and over then send you to the lobby. Then Disconnect from the server and you'll keep your level.

well, all the above suggestions are great ones, and obviouslly the only ones, either cheating or lvling back up again, but 88 hoursa...ouch...
if you PM i can give you a link to a friends site with a few codes to get you lvled back and with all your weapons that you lost, as well as few little added bonuses...

why stop there, lvl up to 200, make lots of rares and if you lost the game.................well.................do the cheats again.

When I'd lost characters I just started fresh again. I did my fair share of "backups" on Gamecube and I'm quite ashamed that I had so many unlegit weapons (that I never gave away mind you). I went to Blue Burst as my 100% legit rebirth on PSO.
88 hours is not much to lose, I've got 310 hours on my lvl 125 FOmar.

Backups aren't really illegit, Sheik, unless you used them for something other than FSOD recovery. Yeah, you did use a few unlegit things, but you could've stopped it. It's not like you did anything permenant that you couldn't have stopped. :ermm:

Well 88 hours is a lot to have lost since most of it was done over a year peiod while servering in the military and instead of spending the down time with my wife and kids I spent it on GC.
Thats a week time where I couldve spent quality time with them instead of GC. But thats in the past and now Ive hooked my son on PSO.
