1st things 1st i want to ensure every 1 that reads this that it was offline, not online.


right well somethin weird happend. i was offline and i was playin in my m8s house on the gc. my character was transfered to his memory card and when i tried to send it backto my meory card it send somethin like "unable to find character location" meening it couldnt b transfered back. at this point i was about to loose a character anbout lv115 so as u can amadgin i wasnt very happy. i said to myself i know i can still keep the character on my memory card but i will lose all the items on it (gd items btw) so i traded another of my characters over to get the items from my character that i was bout to loose. i got all the items from it. so i had saved my character on my memory card and i took the items wth another character and saved them. when i looked at the character on my memory card i notice he still had the items somehow.

he should have lost em. so basikly i had 2 copys of the character on 2 diff memory card (he was deleted 2 btw.i didnt want anther of him) and i had 2 copys of every item he had now. at least i had another asuka lol. but same time im confuzzeled.
any of u know how this happend. it proof that cloneing can happen offline. though if any of u dupe things i would still not recomend trryin to copy what just happend even 2 me. nothin against u, u just shouldnt clone stuff. peeps work hard to get gd items and i got a psycho wand this mornin YAY! no 1 will belive me. only reason peeps couold belive me is coz im not online on it.

1 more thing. i have a question. what happens if u have cloned items on ur character. my m8s memory card erased7 times (only pso data) and he had cloned items on it. not it doesnt erase coz he has only legit items. makesme wonder

i had a missing char once (when i was level 42) when i restored it i had no items bar techs(so i was going through forest with foie-zonde and barta trying to find some items to heal heh) then 2 weeks later it turned up again.

right then well rair enough.

1) i never was gd at english so i dont care bout my spellin and grammer. i know its crap

2) i had a feelin that no1 would prob belive me bout this but if u want evidence. then try it for ur self. ill explane it in short. trade u character to another memory card. trransfer back and corupt it in some way so it say character data cannot b found. pull memory card out put it back in. u'll have2 of the character rob. thats what happend to me. im guessin it has a high chace of just erasin the character but well....

put it this way if u dont want to belive me which it seems u dont then fair enough but dont call me a lier when u have no idea bout it. it happend to me an i know what i saw. i was in my m8s house. 2 other peeps where there 2 witness this so plz do not call me a lier on this.
if u have a character u dont and arent to bother bout it themn try this. if it clones like i said then i hope i get an apology from u. if it erases then that was at urown risk.

THIS has happened. I watched in confusion as Dnd's (my eldest son) character disappeared right before our eyes. This does happen. So its not Bullshit and well, i would not recommend doing this deliberately. A forced corruption????? :S

Well, if this did really happen, then that means you should be banned for spreading info on mass duping items and copying characters.

I know that it is possible to make a Temp File copy of a character on another memory card, but you will still only have one set of items. You will not duplicate the items.

- MemCard[A] in Slot[A], MemCard[B] in Slot[B]
- Transfer character "John Doe" from MemCard[B] to [A].
- Cancel the "Transfered Data" status on MemCard[B]
- You now have a copy of John on MemCard[B] in a main character filespace, and a copy of him (with all the items) in a temporary character filespace on MemCard[A]
- Then trade the items from the temp John on MemCard[A] to the main John on MemCard[B]
- The John on MemCard[B] is the exact same as he started as, but there is a temp copy of him on MemCard[A] that has no items.
