Yup, you can connect via wireless through a router or at a hotspot, but there will also be a Nintendo USB wireless thing available for about £30 when it's out!

I got it today, and it's really good!
The only problem is, I can't find the USB thing anywhere, so I'll be getting practise alone before trying online, I guess...
