Double Cannon sucks because of excessive rarity.

Red Mechgun and S-Rank Mechgun pwn the shit out of Yas9k.

IMO not, the yas9k has rifle range with 9 shots in east/wast tower ult mari group 1 hit deaths, wonder what i would do red mechs would kill it like 2 slots sooner but you would die before that, yas9k's are alot safer because you have alot more time to move around.

in fairness, guld milla has nothing better than it (considering the handgun range and unreduced gush), wereas DC is beaten by a BKB. pointless, really.

yas9k is useless in Towers, get with Demon's Laser with hit, and FS. Double Cannon isn't good, excluding the rarity factor, the special is used for destroying boxes :wacko: and the ATP is beaten by BKB. Guld Milla actually has a special, which is incredible. GM, Mille Marteaux, and Rage de Feus are very rare, S-Rank Mech can't be better than those, even including the rarity of those three Mechguns.

As I said, Red Daggers outdamage BKB, has a good special, can be boosted by the two coats (but let's excude that, because it just rapes DC and BKB with any of those coats) and the Red Daggers is not a rare find.

How can people that never used anything but Yas9k in Towers compare it to other weapons?

I kill a lot faster with Bringer's Rifle than Yas9k, in Towers.

In all other areas, I kill faster with Red Mechgun.

Yas9k is useless, it is weak, inconsistent and has no special. 99% of the time, Mechgun are used at point blank.
And if you are gonna attack at range, Bringer's Rifle owns Yas9k.

Also, to whomever quoted me, learn to read; Double Cannon does not suck because it is rare, it is not worth it because of the rarity.
If you have it -- and I mean legitly -- of course it is a good weapon, but if you are going to hunt for it, you'd be MUCH better off hunting Meteor Cudgel or Demolition Comet (or S-Rank Twin), you'd deal about the same damage, and spend 600 less hours hunting it.

Guld Milla, Mille Marteaux, Vivienne, Sange & Yasha, etc. are totally worth their rarity, Double Cannon is not, at all.

While the supporters of Demons/Hell Lasers with hit% may be correct in the fact that it's a good weapon and certainly better than their rarer counterparts in terms of special accuracy, I personally would never be caught dead using such a weapon. Why? Same reason I prefer Cudgels over Demos, Twin Psychoguns (with slight hit if possible) over Vulcans for HUs, and other similar comparisons: where's the fun in it? I dunno, some people just love to see the enemies die in the same way, again and again, where IMO the monotony is PSO's downfall. Half the fun of this game for me is in using weapons that the guy next to me isn't 50% more likely to pull out as well.

It just gets annoying to see people asking "is that an S-Rank Rifle?" (sounding like they're making about to make a compliment for your time/work in cmode or whatever) only to follow up directly with "ZOMG WUT GOOD IZ THAT WPN GET A HELL LASER W/HIT LOLOLOL". Yeah, I could get a hell laser with decent hit% with a couple hours in Ruins and a bit of luck. So what... I like my S-Rank. It's a case of perfection vs. fun. I've never been one to choose perfection. [/rant]

When you have a 35% hit Yas9k you tend to use it more. Then, it stands to reason that if you hae 35% hit ANYTHING, you might certainly find a good use for it.

As for the Bringer's Rifle in the towers, that is most definitely true... not that I've used one there, but my S-Rank is more or less identical to one. Ah, those stupid flowers die fast when there's a Demons weapon involved. XD

If you have hours upon hours of homework with which to complement with piping, you eventually find a the DC a definite possibility. (yes I realize you did not use piping while you were on GC and are making this point without it... just saying)

Too many people use 'fun' as a way to argue against facts, even when the person stating the fact considers the cool factor of the weapon/armor, etc. It gets old and those POVs and opinions become invalid.

Then there is a bunch more about a game as being like the actual playing a event (I'm going to watch the game.), etc. The first thing there, describes a game as an amusement.

The way I play PSO, I play it to amuse me. The Yas 9k does that. Very much so... I love using them, even at point blank. The range is just extra fun. They are just cool. They look cool too... something which cannont be said about the Guld Milla (I do not know about the other BB Mechs though). I have some 50% Demon's Rayguns. They are not amusing. They are not even that accurate. I had a 45% hit Demon's Laser that I traded because I still didn't like it. I didn't find it fun... it was impeding my playing PSO as a game.
I know either A.S. or Kef is bound to quote this, and read this... soooo... Ramarl sux. Humar pwns! BWHAHAH!
PSO IS A GAME. IF YOU ARE NOT PLAYING IT AS ONE, THEN YOUR OPINIONS ARE INVALID!

can you not get 100% on ver 2?

no.....only 60% tekked
also finding weapons with good % is hard on dc since sometimes the % can be very low (-50%)
on ultimate i use (3) red handguns, since they have a high atp,% and range
on vhard no other weapon, not even my % red handguns can beat my m&a60 vise, 3 criatures are killed on ruins , with shifta i kill 4, + i have the godbattle equiped so speed is what i have.
if a good atp was common, everyone would want one of these and the other weapons would be ignored.
