The original 'Monster Rancher' for PS1 was actually MR2. MR1 never got a UK release, unfortunately. Dunno what happened to 3 though.

I think MR2 was for the GBA, i had it on an emulator... got boring once the damn thing had to retire... i wa s p'ed i wasted too many hours and then it told me it had to retire!

I know this is an old topic, but MR3 was on PS2.....and they said MR4 wasn't as good as three. I liked 3, 3D battles and all were pretty cool. Prettier sprites and such. Never got to S-Class as the damn things always had to retire, I just kinda' worked my monsters like slaves. Work em' till death, then use the parts of their tablets for other monsters. Keep doing that until you have an 00b3r monster....then pwnage.
