Neither are available, both the Red Ring, and the Dark Flow are illegit hacks/dupes of hacks, just don't play with people who own them and you'll be fine.
Also if you go online and someone enters your game and they won't say anything, even if you ask them if they're legit/or to leave your game and they won't then chances are they're there to FSOD you, or, pick up any rares that may drop.

i'll take that into consideration, but online isn't my type of thing, i like going off-line. based of what u guys told me online game play is corrupted.

The only appeal to me about playing online is the idea of playing with friends.
If I do end up online, I won't do any trading, giving, or accepting. Too much crap happens as it would seem.

This is the good thing about teams, you play only with people you trust to be completely legit.

Well, I think the main appeal is playing with your friends but unlike stupid splitscreen you get a TV to yourself and no multiplayer split screen limitations. You can independantly pipe, or be in four different locations at any one time. It just makes life so much easier.
Also, theres the TTF quest which is brilliant for leveling up.
Thats a good rule though, unless you know the game is 100% legit dont trade online (unless its with a trusted friend).

Oh, if you mean the piping
trick for rare monsters. Yes it is impossible. I was commenting on how useful it is to be able to split up using pipes and not having to wait until everyones ready fro a trip back like in splitscreen.
