I remember someone telling me ATA gives damage to gun weaponry. And obviously accuracy. And str for blade type weaponry. It wouldn't suprise me either way, I've experienced both in RPGs. But it would make more sense in this game for str to be physical damage PERIOD and ATA for accuracy only. It would be kind of unbalanced if you could just do gun and get damage and ATA at once. Though pure casters get TP and damage in one go for their class.
And if you're refering to hitting more as damage, I'm not that far gone. Like if your character's average damage is 100, and you have a 67% chance to hit, then your average damage is 67. Common sense stuff I know. But what I'm refering to is damage-damage.

TP is merely the amount they can cast, not how strong the casted tech is. If for example for some retarded reason I wanted to equip four God/TP's and max myself on TP materials, that wouldn't increase the strength of the tech, merely how many times I could cast that technique. Now, FO's DO get more TP as their MST increases, but obviously they need it. RA's have decent attack power, so they wouldn't need an extra type of ATP in their ATA...if that makes sense?

Dex is just ATA which is just accureccy
TP is basically "bullets" for the force - they use limited amounts of them to deal massive damage while a gun uses unlimited bullets but deals less damage |
