What Char Do you play as on mario kart DS?

My favourite to use is still definitely Luigi in his 'Streamliner'.

yes, if you put a certain char in a different cart it still effects but it still makes a huge difference also...

Dk Best speed, low acceleration, bigest weight

Lightest weight; highest acceleration; cant remember speed...

all i know is i think the light chars are the best because on N64 a site said professionals tested and the light chars were the fastest... but then again... that was N64...

i also like yoshis cucumber with Dk

edit: but each char has their own unique charteristics and their strong points, in your game case check out the pamflet and flip to characters, (example (straight from the packet): yoshi is a light char and his traction is Excellent.)

i wish i could make my emblem that good XD. mine is just a face with a X for one eye and a regular eye for the other and a mouth showing the teeth. *is supposed to look like it got hit by a green turtle shell or something*. I tried to make a green turtle shell, lets just say it didnt turn out too good >.>.

i also found its not luigi's streamliner i like, its luigis polorgraust (sp.?) 3000... kind of over-used online, but it pwnorz.

in looks i'd say i like rambi rider the most the drift is pretty good and speed, but the handling is much too hard for me ;-;

I used to use the poltergeist 3000 but I moved straight to the streamlines when I unlocked it.

me too, then rob with the streamliner and now rob in his standard car (for the speed)

eep, why's everyone like the streamliner more? i like the vaccum more for 2 reasons. 1. i lub it cuz its from a fav game of mine, luigis mansion (or is supposed to, i believe, be based off it) and 2. the little bit of speed and acceleration made it better for me online, the items werent big difference because past couple days i only losed twice and won 13 times anyway... everytime i lost i know one was from a guy with like 300 wins, and 20 loses, pure pysho.

record is 20-12. decent at the least.

i use robs standard with toad a lot, mostly when im against people with great records, when im against nubs (1-2; 0-0; 1-17 <--i met a guy with this record today lets just say its now 1-18 XD) i just have fun and mix and match. i like all of yoshis carts and Dk's, they are pretty cool. Luigis standard cart i also like because its very balanced.

but i found out something i thought was interesting after doing a large amount of time trials.

For anyone who knows of the delfino square alley way short cut (by the docks if you dont know, theres an alley with two boxes, mushroom through the alley for a short cut, and prefferably power slide so you dont fall off the cliff.) but i found out, when youre heading to the alley/curve there is a platform and the docks. the platform comes first. if you mushroom off the platform onto the docks and do a mini turbo on the curve its actually faster than mushrooming the alley . thought that was kinda cool. its like a 1-2 seconds faster if you do it right.

what, so as you come round the corner off the bridge you boost onto the pier type thing and thats quicker than taking that funny little shortcut?
