DId any one get this for Christmas, or has had it, what level are your main units? Did you let anyone die? How many times have you resetted the game? (If you're like me, and have to take chances to get that one more level up then probably a lot?) How many times will you play it over again? You know to unlock all the secret characters you need to play it over fifteen times right?......General discussion. If any of you are into these games. This thread can include the two GBA games as well. I'm pretty much an expert at the first one, for the most part.....Okay, so I'm good at the game, but Hector Hard Mode was too much.   :O :S

No, I got it (Christmas) and completed it Saturday. Overall the final boss SUCKED......I liked the game and the characters. Except that Titania, she's just liek Marcus (from the Fire Emblem with Eliwood, Lyn and Hector.....) Jannigans suck!!!!! THey steal all your exp and such....
I plan on getting FE: The Sacred Stones in some time, my brother got it for X-mas but he won't let me play it. THe bastid.

A friend of mine got it for christmas, I'll probably just wait to barrow it from him.
But it looks like a good game, especially if its alot like the second gba game... is it?

Of course it is, I don't like it quite as much as the FE7 (The one with Lyn, Hector, Eliwood.) because they screwed over the Trinity of magic by taking Light and Dark magic out, and making the light nuetral, getting rid of the Dark, and Making Fire/Lightining/Wind the new Trinity of Magic......By the way just so you know.....Mia>Zihark, depending on what you like. More Power, or greater chance to do criticals. Rolf>Shinon, and trust me on this one, it's oh, so true. And if you need any help on getting any of the secret characters just post in this thread.

I've had the game since the day it came out, and i reckon i've got a fair way through it, but blimey, wouldnt have expected it to be that short! How short would you say it was overall to complete EkwEE?

I had about a total of fifty hours into it, but you could easily cut it in half if you don't care about your characters. I don't care if I don't use them, if they're my mercenaries, they aren't dying. And I managed to get a lot of my characters their 20/20 stats: Mia, Ike, Zihark, Jill, Maricia, Nephenee (whom is one of the best characters in the game.) And I got most of them to their 20/10 stats. Rolf, Astrid, and a few others. It was overall one chapter shorter than I expected(29 Chapters instead of 30, I mean, honestly, one more chapter where you could get some extra EXP before the final fight isn't asking too much I think...). Like I said I prefer the Lyn, Hector, Eliwood FE. But this one is very fun. Of course, I spent probably another 30 hours just resetting and doing missions over. You know the Chapter where you have to get to the harbor?.....well, first time I did it, I didn't know that damned Black Knight was going to come out....so here was my reaction....
Me: Oh crap, I better get Marcia over there as Illayna took a pretty good hit from that Wyvern Rider with Jill. *Rescues unit and ends phase*
*enemy phase and BK walks out of the house*
Me: Oh ************** NO ******* WAY, THIS IS SO ****** LAME.....
BK: *walks up to Marcia* Hello little Pegasus Knight, how are you today?
Marcia: Just fine mister, hey you're a big guy aren't 'cha?
BK: Yep, sure am, guess what?
Marcia: What?
BK: Do you know what 00b3r p\/\/n@g3 is?
Marcia: No what is......
BK: *Whips out Alondite and slaughters Marcia* I p\/\/ned you.....

Started FE7 agains.......Yeah....Forgot Canas....again....
So I'm going through it, using my Pegasus Knight. After playing through with Marcia, as statiscally she's worse than Florina, Florina is like a goddess of death, delivering criticals unto all enemy units....

...lol when that happened to me, i had Ike 2 spaces away from the door, i regret that to this very day...
did your Ike become elite awesome towards the end?...
nothing could hit mine, and he always seemed to use "aether"...
I did the last 10 chapters with him alone just for the hell of it, in total he lost about 20HP in all of those chapters, 10 of it from falling boulders...
funny at the end though, i had 2nd: oscar 56 kills 1st: Ike 278 kills...
I really should start again and train up all the characters, that are actually half decent

Well make sure to give Oscar Bows when he class changes, that way you can get the three brothers tri-attack. And you didn't level up Elencia! -_-; What the hell? At like level 10 she can double almost everything, and since the Amiti gives her an extra turn, that's FOUR freaking attacks. And don't bother with any of the generals, Gatrie or Boyd or Toureneo. Just train up Malakov....Yeah, he looks like a homo, statistically he's the best Paladin in the game.
