Lol! Yes, it's still being released for PlayStation2 (Strange people...). I was just saying that Sonic Team said they were considering re-producing Universe for another out of the Next-Gen consoles.
Of course everyone would love to see it on Nintendo Revolution, but IGN who were conducting the interview at the time when Sonic Team said these comments were trying to push them onto making it for Xbox360. Considering how the Xbox360 has gone down in Japan, i doubt it'll be released for 360 if they were at first considering it!

Lee maybe you are correct maybe not (about the 360), maybe they DO release it on 360 because it might save it?

No they don't release it on cube because it can't handle the game, it's 'too good' for the cube.
And save the 360 in japan because it isn't being sold a lot there, if they release PSU on it, which will run very smoothly on it, people might buy more 360's because of PSU?
That's what I am thinking

Very doubtful Daan. It's impossible for one game alone to save a console and boost sales hugely. In gaming history there's only been one game that's done such a thing, and that's Grand Theft Auto 3, which has given the PlayStation2 the dominance in the current console wars that they still enjoy today in the western market of Europe and America.
It's because of that that PSU is being released on PS2, because of the number of potential customers out there. Sonic Team will probabily wait until they see which console is selling the best to upgrade Universe for the next gen consoles, or just not re-produce it at all. Unless Xbox360 is saved by it's future line-up of games such as Final Fantasy 11 (Not likely), Dead or Alive 4 (It'll sell only to those with the console) or likewise, i don't see it happening. I'm not saying i wouldn't mind though, i'd like to play Universe on my Xbox360
