The monster dies, getting the item is a FFA, most everyone has an equal chance of getting it. (Unless it was from a rare monster, people tend to cluster around those).

you just have to be carefull and trade with people that you thrust.
a hacker on dc rarely steals your weapon, he can make one with cheats and then hack your memory card, all the games become currupted. i never traded soething online and even if someone kills me online i have a back up save file on another vmu, so....no problem. there are also rumors that hackers ruined dc's, but this is not comfirmed ![[Image: signature-cc3b3pia21.png]](https://kireekpso.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/signature-cc3b3pia21.png)
