I'm stuck for choice! In an ideal world, i'd get both, but these games are f**kin' expensive, and i can only afford the one. Although both games are of different genres... which one would you get? Dead or Alive 4 (Released next friday) or Ridge Racer 6? (Released tommorrow)

Depends.....i would get both as i like both genres but having played DoA4 on import i'd say get that first. Ok its just a beat-m-up but my god it looks absolutely stunning. I dont like the x360 but DoA4 has pushed me into maybe having a box360 alongside my Rev. in the future. i vote DoA4, then RR6 for afters heh
ROGUE lv200 Huney,
L'il maia lv157 Racl,
Rogue v2 huney lv42,
DAN smith5 Hucast for cmode.

DoA4 isn't that great.
VF5 will probably pwn it, as VF4 badly pwned DoA3.
I have barely tried RR6, and it looked ok, but I defenitely vote against DoA4.

Id rather have DOA4. Ridge Racer will be somewhat similar to PGR, so if you have that theres no need for another of the same genre.
Plus, DOA4 has all those...moves.

I would personally prefer DOA4, but thats mostly because i get bored of racing games pretty quickly, and i find fighting games better for multiplayer.

Play games before talking? =/
The gameplay for RR6 is drastically different from PGR3, it's like comparing Gran Turismo 4 and F-Zero GX >_> "they're both racing games" lol.

I just meant they are quite similar in the way they are quite realistic Racers, but I havent played RR since its PSOne days, so yeah, Id have to play it first.

RR (I played 1, Revolution, 3, 4, a bit of 5 and tried 6 for a few races) have never been anywhere near realistic in their gameplays, I regard RR games closer to the F-Zero series than to the MSR/PGR series in terms of gameplay.
That's why I like RR and ain't too fond of PGR
Unless you're really good at DoA games
and play online a lot, you will it find it extremely boring very quickly. While RR6 is very much enjoyable even offline, and has tons of stuff to do.
