PSO based rpg

Im currently making a game based on Phantasy Star Online, its a small rpg, about a hunter (me! yay!!!) its going to be 2d but once ive finished my scripting skills :| it will be 3d

i was just wondering, what kind of scripting are using to make this game? Something like RGSS? And what kind of battle system will it have? An ATBS like PSO?

My friend and I were going to make one, but it never got very far.

Ours was going to be called Phantasy Star Zero, and followed the story of Red Ring Rico as she discovered things about Ragol and the Pioneer project. I also included some areas from Ep2.

But basically, if you set the game before Pioneer 2 arrives, then everything can be unknown - and you could meet Rico, Flowen, and Osto...

Actually I might give something like this ago just for the hell of it, i just finished my seconf rpg on RM2k3... and am looking to start a new one, this shall be my inspiration...

But if you guys want to keep your ideas, then please say and i won't copy them, much...

well im still debating over the story and things, but i want to focus on the ep1 strory as much as possible,

as far as gameplay, it will be a turn based rpg, and should play like any final fantasy before 7

im making it using a game creation program, but editing the scripts used, characters, music and general things about it

I've been involved in a few things like this, generally as a story writer. It is something I excel at. I am currently writing the story for an online multiplayer game. Turn-based and all XML called eternal storm.

I'd prefer it if the game had a more PS feel than an FF one.
