Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
#11
Hm. So, you actually get Elincia, eh? I am at the current mission in Begnion in which you need to hunt some Laguz in the desert. How depressing. Please do not spoil anything for me, as this game is a very fine adaptation from the 2D screen to 3D, and I really want to enjoy it to it's fullest, especially since my favorite character of any Fire emblem has gone from Raven/Canas/Erk to Soren, and only Soren. He remarkably looks like me as well, and looks like me. Good to have a character made for you in any game.

Regardless, though. We all knew from several previews and clips that Greil was going to die, but when it actually happened, wasn't it ridiculously miserable? Sure, you expected it and knew it to happen, but it still tore your heart when the man died.

And of course: In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Begnion underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find them - maybe you can hire: The Greil Team.

Hehehe..... Yeah, Soren's great....

Half .....branded, half Sage, ALL badass....

He's a little on the slow side since his weight keeps him from using the heavier tomes (Fire and Lightning), but he can pretty much double most enemies with his speed and if Adept activates, then you have 3-4 attacks there. Soren was my best mage, him and Rhys and Illayna.....Tormod, while technically being the best, I don't like as much. If you haven't passed that mission yet, I'd like to tell you to go to the right corner of the map, with a laguz, and from the very top, go left one space, and down two, and a secret Swordmaster will appear. With a Laguz he'll join your party, and he'll come with an S-rank sword, the Vague Katti.....I never got him...but yeah. Sorta' wished I had. There's also a white gem in that area, and a little further south there's a Boots that you'll want.

Mm. I got the boots and gave them to Gatrie. I suppose I will get the swordmaster later, although I am completely against using allready upgraded characters, so maybe I wont. I am none too nuts about Tormod. Ilyana and Soren serve me just fine, especially with the support bonuses they get. And it's not his weight that keeps him from using the heavier tomes so much as it is his lack of mastery by the time those two are available to you. I am up to chapter 17, in which it's time to put an end to Olivers life and save the heron that would turn any man gay.

I prefer Mia over Zihark, but Stefan has similar Stats to Zihark.

Meh, at that point in the game Reyson wasn't really essential, and he died on the mission I get Shinon back (Rolf is much better anyway.) But yeah....Got to chapter 11 again, and miscalculated the turn in which the BK comes out....BYE BYE ZIHARK!....I have Mia so it doesn't matter, and since I hardly Illayna and Brom his support convos with them are useless to me. The only thing I'll regret about not using Brom this time 'round is the support convos he gets with Nepheene. I <3 Nephenee. She's 00b3r....I'm having trouble with chapter 12, 'A Strange Land' though, I've always had problems with that mission though, and the first time round Marcia was a much higher level......she took out most of those ravens. Now she's about....4 levels lower than she was in my last play through. But my Soren, Boyd, Oscar and Mist(well her less so.) are about to Promote.

In all, Brom actually becomes the better General, especially at later levels, Gatrie basically gets 0 resistance and his resistance ends up getting him killed more times than not. I learn this of course when I have Gatrie at level 19, so I'll just finish it up with him.

And I thought I was the only one that loved Nephenee Big Grin She's so adorable. Next time around I will be sure to use Brom so they can have support conversations together. All in all I like the Hero's more than the Soldiers, but it's Nephenee, so that's just fine.

Hero's have, in the past had overall better stat growth, but Nephenee is the only worthy Halbierdier you get in the game, and mine, with a Killer Lance whips out crits like no other. Brom's good, but Generals aren't really worth it, a Paladin can do their job and better.

I wished there were some Hero's in the game, Greil was the only one, and he ******, so yeah, no hero for j00.....I liked Raven as his speed made him double everything, the only thing was his incest filled support convos with Priscilla.

Sothe is a really good character, as his Blossom doubles his chances to gain a stat point in each area, so his max 20/20 stats literally pwn everything other than Ike. But he sucks experience like a Jeigan with lv.1 characters.

Hahaha. Question on support in this game. How the fuck does it work? Usually in the older FE games, after defeating all of the enemies, I made characters spend long amounts of turns around eachother and beside, however, in this game I have characters with affinity to one another spend time together for roughly 100 turns on some chapters and they still don't get a support when I go back to base. Is there any manner in which it works in this one? because this is what I always used to do in the older games, and it's been pissing me off.
