to diference the good from the best players

id do exactly the same, if it was on both sides, run to the rear of the side with less on, kill the single vulmer, use the CA as a shield for the other two (it wont have had a chance to turn around enough because i went to the back of it to give me more leeway) kill the CA and then kill the 2 vulmers. if its 3 melqueeks run a long way away, kill the mulqeeks then when the CA finally gets in range blatter it as well....

Yay a quiz! Just so there's no mistake, I'll write out my strategies mostly for Will Blazk. (my top char, RAmar) and Master Shake (my second char, HUmar).

-1- do you know the maps, you do not mistake or take the wrong route
Well nobody's perfect. Most maps I can remember upon seeing them, only a couple slip me up occasionally (in caves 3 in particular)

-2- do you know were the criatures will born in the game?
Depends on the quest; usually when I enter a room I've been in before and it has a set spawning pattern, I remember it.

-3- when you enter the sil dragons lair, what do you do first?
Will: NUG it. (repeat ad nauseum)
Shake: Get to the side, Rainbow Baton first, then once the head is lowered, break out 30n/20h Asuka or else the Double Cannon.

-4- when a chaos sorcerer apears, what do you destroy first
Will: Freeze it (35 hit FS), then mechgun it (35 hit Yas9k)
Shake: 60 dark Double Cannon FTW. He won't even have time to use that rafoie/grants.

-5- you enter in ultimate ruins, in a room borns a indi belra, what do you do?
Will: Freeze it, switch to S-Rank Rifle (has Demons), attempt to cut its health and then finish it off.
Shake: Not too much to do except get behind it and break out the DC again.

-6- same situation but while you are atacking the indi belra a merlan is born, wich will you destroy first and how?
Generally I ignore attacks from a single grunt enemy and focus on the larger ones first... unless the larger one is frozen and the grunt is not.

-7- in ultimate mines how do you destroy the canabin ring
Spread Needle / Rainbow Baton

-8- how do you destroy a baranz in the dark?
Will: Freeze/Demons it
Shake: Run around to its backside and attack, or take the "cmode option" and run around to make it kill itself.

-9- how do you destroy a sinow blue/red in the dark
Freeze if possible... or failing that, walk just out of its range when it slashes, wait for it to jump backwards and then forwards, try to get off a couple attacks. Use a gun unless there's significant support in the game (i.e. decent Jellen on the Sinow).

-10- you have the god batle equiped, a bartle borns right in front of you (5 feet), what do you do if when atacking.
Attack. It's a freakin' bartle, not much thought should get put into it. XD

-11- wich mag do you equip, the bana or the rare pitri or the rare pian?
All my chars use the ep2 rare mags, except Shake who has a Hamburger.

-12- you are surrounded by merlans in ultimate ruins, you can't get free, what to do?
Try to attack one with the quickest weapon I can. Unless I'm a bot it's mostly an endurance test.

-13- a crisson assassin freezes you, after you got out a vulmer is born next to the c.a., what do do?
Shake out of the ice, run around to put the Assassin between you and the Vulmer (block the faster enemy), pull out Spread Needle (with Will) or S-Rank Sword (with Shake; sword has Berserk) and kill.

-14- in dark falz when he is ready to fire the purple shots in 2nd form or 1st form, what do you do?
Not much TO do, they rarely miss and where they do, it's not easy to see where they fall.

-15- in ultimate mines, when a sinow blue criates copies, wich one is the real one?
Hit the gizonde button; won't do any damage but will eliminate the copies (I say gizonde since I usually have it hotkeyed for tagging purposes).

-16- a bartle is very close to you (less then 1 feet) after hiting the 3rd shot of a combo, will you...(using a god batle)
Walk a step away to dodge its attack and then start the next combo... or just take the hit. Again, it's a freakin' bartle.

-17- how do you defeat a delsaber?
Will: Freeze it, then Yas it.
Shake: Dodge its triple slash attack, then do a combo with the 60d DC from behind. Repeat until dead.

-18- what can you do to make more damage in less time, lvl up, equip some shields, weapons, % , mags, god power, raise ata (you will hit more and miss less)......and what more......?
Magic.

Or for a more serious answer, all of the above. It's not that hard.

But I will say that I have a ranger bias; I hate to miss, so when I'm having ATA problems I don't hesitate to equip as much ATA as I can.



And Kireek: "rating" outhers is really not a wonderful tactic. :ermm:

thats one thing i like in c.a. they take a lifetime to turn around. but you are consider one of the best yet, i would love to see you play, if you saw the movies i see......you would say that it is not possible to be so newbie at lvl 150, some players miss atacks. do not control the char wich on your case is perfect, and also they get killed.

I don't know all the routes; I know the general direction. When I bother learning a map, I pwn it beyond all reason. Die VR Temple, die!!!

In quests I have done a few times, or maps like Temple (offline) yes.

90/90/0/90 GiGue Bazooka for the win!!!

Pump that sucka fulla lead with the 9000M.

Freeze the thing, then 50% hit Demon's Raygun, also for the win!!!

While the Belra is frozen, I take out the Merlan, then the Belra. Or I stand in the Belra's blind spot.

Zalure the lot, take out the Canune, Spread Needle the rest.

Freeze, Zalure, 9000M.

No, no you can't. He speaks english pretty well as far as I am concerned considering it is a second language. The grammar is fine, maybe the sentance structure could use a little work though. Different words as well as carrying a literal meaning carry different connotations. Seeing as everyone sees these differently, no one is in any position to judge any one.

...Or tell them they have earned an "insta-fail". He has clearly put a lot of effort into these open ended (non-tick in a box stylee) questions and he has his own views on what makes a good player, although like may others I am concerned that he judges a player a bit too quickly. The only way you can really tell is by playing along side someone.

this is only to see if you are good or the best, a movie showing the moves and stuff would be ALOT better so if i say that you are an average player, don't feel bad, you are probably good.

I think the difference between good players and the best players is simple, and it's well illustrated with challenge mode.

The best players are able to use any weapon that comes to them. Anybody can kill a Delsaber with a Frozen Shooter, anybody can clear a room with a Red Sword. How would these people do if given say a Rifle? Could they still kill that ult. Delsaber through tactics and ability rather than just the right arsenal. In the end, everybody is likely to have almost the same weapons, just because they're the best weapons, but that does not make them skilled nor does it matter in what order they do things.

but sometimes the control of your char is important, i've seen lot's of movies were players do a full combo without hiting anything.
this is just to comfirm if the movies show particular player or the general gameplay on the world.

it is a possibility to miss and i want to know what do you do it those situations, i did not say freezing is bad or destroing the canabins with a spread needle is worse, i just want to know what do you do.
and a humar at lvl 150 can have 4 god arms equiped that wont change a thing
