artifacts in PSO

whle playing pso i have encounted many pillar artifacts which i understand are ment to help you in the game

i have finished episode 1 and nothing happened with them

i dont know what to do

The only thing those pillars do is once all 3 are active and you've beaten Vol Opt, they let you access Ruins. If you dont activate them you cant get in the ruins.

oh, good thing you ran into those! they aren't really meant for anything after completing the game in ep 1, but what they do is you have to touch all three of them before getting to the ruins, or you won't be able to pass through the door (which you never saw because you got all the pillars before the mines boss!) in conclusion, just look for them every difficulty level.

I remember in the DC version you couldn't touch them until you reached the door,but fortunately,you can in the GC version.

wow that must have been hard...i always forget to look for them when they're not in plain sight, so i end up going back through one of the stages anyway! i always forget about those things.

It's only bad in Caves... that being the most boring of the three levels. Forest is the shortest, and you're already IN mines when it comes time to open the door... so it's only the Caves one that really kills ya. >_<

yeah...thats also the one i always forget, which makes it even more painful! but thankfully i usually beat the caves and mines in one sitting, so i can just warp to cave 2 and i don't have to walk back through the caves every single time i forget!

Another thing on the DC,was if you beat Vol Opt,went to the ruins and then went back after touching the pillars(on the same go)you had to fight him again.Not pretty.
