Adult Swim and Beyond

The only thing Adult Swim has had censored on it was when somebody whipped it out during one of FLFL's Manga page style sequences, they put a mosiac over it lmao. All of the language, gore, and pretty much everything else is intact.

As far as i know (i heard this on another forum) Adult swim is getting it's saturday night spot back and that it will begin to show anime movies every once in a while. This (Just remembered i heard this on the Adult Swim forums so i'm pretty sure this is true.) is good news for all inuyasha fans because they are supposedly going to play the first inuyasha movie when it is dubbed into english. As for me i'm going for the subbed version, i just prefer the voice actors.

It only makes sense to have japanese voices for a story that takes place in fudal japan, but for shows such as Lodoss Wars and FLCL (which loses it's humor unless it is in english so you can understand the tone of voice, etc.) I perfer dubs.

I love AS! Never woulda seen Yu Yu Hakusho, Inu Yasha, and so many other great anime! I hope they show the IY movie! I've been wanting to see it, but it's not in stores yet...

no! blue gender isn't Starship Troopers....never...you can't reach that.........Starship Troopers was one of the best books ever. i will admit that the bugs and humans fighting is the one similarity. its more like StarCraft.

and you can't beat Trigun or Lupin the Third.

Adult Swim is cool, i got into many good series from there. The only problem is its english dubbed, you just cant watch anime in English (unless its YYH or Cowboy Bebop). But still, the fact that its almost completely uncut is a plus and earns points in my book (ill actually watch the english eps here because theyre uncut).

I'm suprised that no one mentioned Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, etc. How can nobody mention them?!

I watched Witch Hunter Robin for the first time on Adult Swim, I like watching Futurama, Family Guy (I wish they hadn't stopped airing WHR). I had to go buy the WHR dvds all because they stopped showing it on tv (and yes I have tried watching them in japanese but I don't like the voices as much in JP).

meh, whatever, i still think anime MUST be watched in JP but if you dont like culture that much....anyway, Family Guy is great, ive got the first 2 seasons on DVD. OH!! Theres a new season starting in January (thats the 2nd time its been cancelled and brought back).
