adapt to other players gameplay or not?

Well it does get awfully annoying when someone way stronger than you is also faster and doesn't allow you to get experience. I don't think the gun user should have to adapt in any way other than killing a bit slower so the others can get the exp. I mean, if you want to use a great gun then use a great gun, but if you are ruining the game for other people, then play like they at least exist. even if you can whoosh through the level with your gun, you still are with other people; if anyone has to go offline, it should be the person that believes they are superior and don't need to adapt (aka:the gun guy)

It's not fair to the strongest that he has to stop killing for the weak. But, it's also not fair that the weak can't play because the strongest is selfish.

The best way to resolve this situation, is to the strongest equip a bladed weapon, so he will take more time to get to the enemies, but still, he will not stop killing just for the others.

Was it only the two of you in the game? She could have been helping someone by rushing them to the boss.

yeah... that's what made me mad. If we were doing a exp rush i'd be down with that, but we were in the damn cave 1... and it was only us 2. so it's not like we were going to get to the boss anytime soon .

Well here's what I've learned in the Party-EXP-Gaining field. So long as both of you hit the monster just once, doesn't matter how much damage you do, but so long as you both hit it, you both will get the EXP. The Gun guy should polish off the enemy to make sure the weaker one doesn't perish trying to gain the larger half of the EXP gained. So as long as you hit a monster that someone else polishes, you gain the EXP that way. (I learned that Offline with my buddies)

Have the gun users hit the baddies and let the hunters finish them off. That way you all get experience and everyone goes home happy.

There should actually be more useful rangers out there instead of the shot spammers.

One ranger should carry a frozen shooter and freeze the enemy and let the hunters finish them off, or paralyze them with the spread needle...

yeah, i think if rangers don't have any support weps they should do what zoro said, but in ult, there really is no excuse not to have some kind of support wep... i always played a melee fomar though, so i'm no expert at all this crazy ranger stuff.

i didnt have a frozen shooter for ages, and i didnt have a spread needle for even longer. BUT they are really good weapons to support with, although you dont always paralyse on the lower levels if you have company, chances are they'll be dead really quickly anyway!

mine is really annoying- all enemies have a cure/paralysis equiped no SN fun there....

If they're overpowered they should be offline so that they can get on harder difficulties and level themselves up quicker.

I would gladly let others have their chance, but if somebody like that joined my game I'd just go to a different area.
