I know some of you have noticed the user groups section in your profiles and were wondering what they are. Basically they are additional groups of which members of the forum can belong, so while you are all 'registered users' of this forum you could also belong to a phantasy star online clan of somesort and perhaps have a special logo in your profiles for this or your own clan chat forum.

Public groups can be used in a lot of other ways too. If you are interested in seeing something like this being implemented here, have any ideas, or have seen something similar on another site/forum then post your comments in this thread. Cheers Smile

I remember seeing a thread like this before and replying in it..either that or im going slowly InSaNe!!!

Anyways, from what i understand, user groups are similar to clans where forum members sign up to others 'clans' where you talk with other members in your 'clan' in a password protected section of the forum. At least thats what ive done on another forum i sometimes go onto (Not as much as this one obviously! :p). I wont give a web address, dont want to steal ragol.co.uk's thunder now do i! But rest assured its not a PSO site anyways, but it does have a few more cool features! Big Grin

I'm a member of 'Happy Bunny Inc.' LMAO, good name dont u think...classic times! But anyways thats wot happens on this other forum!
I take it this is what this forum means by user groups, well at least from how you're describing it Sol!

I'd like to see some public groups, from what you two are saying, they sound really cool, if we do make them, I'm gonna found "The Slackers Of The World" LolBig Grin

The little clans sound like a great Idea! How long would this take to take action?

I just have a question, What happend to the rank stars for Mods? Its more important they have stars than for the members.

Im in for this User Group idea, i think it would be cool to be seperated into litle clans.
