PSU for 360 will have separate servers...

I saw this on PSOW today

"It has been common knowledge for some time that the PS2 and PC versions of PSU will be linked together, allowing players on either platform to interact with each other. There has been much speculation about whether or not the Xbox 360 servers would be included in this as well. PSOW has learned from an official source that, at this time, the Xbox 360 servers (which will use the Xbox Live service) are planned to be independant of the PS2 and PC servers and will not be linked. This means that if you're planning to meet up with your friends in PSU, it might be a good idea to pick your platforms accordingly, as it appears the Xbox 360 PSU community will playing exclusively with other Xbox Live players"

Lol! Wierd if it is true - It wouldn't really take that much of an effort to link it up with the Xbox360 game as well since all the character models and EVERYTHING will be the same (Except for the graphics which will be tweeked for the better on Xbox360, but doesn't affect anything else game/server related!).

I don't like Micro$oft very much, but i wish they could connect the players between platforms. It would be a big mistake if they don't do this...

Same thing they did with PSOX nothing new and to be honest I am not surprised.

oh well one less reason for me to get a 360, guess it will be PC based PSU and hopefully future Rev PSU!

I'm for it and against it at the same time, or you can say that I don't care either way. one reason is because I knew some people from PSO that quit, and said they would only play PSU if it came out in 360, so if they are independent then :'( . But at the same time my brother is gonna get it for 360, and I don't want to play with him! He gets on my nerves!! (though he's older than I am, I think he's immature) (Stops talking about home life)...

oh, too bad...I know no one with a 360 and no one in my family has one either, but I was looking forward to a larger and more diverse PSU community! plus, a lot of people were probably looking forward to playing 360 with their other-platform pals!

I like the way you think, some people are rether insulted that it would come out on 360,(I should know I used to be anti MS) but I took a few steps back and realized, "hey, in the end its all just a game" Then I was over IT!

I think its great that it's coming out for the 360. that way more people can enjoy it, cuz everyone knows they want to! and even if you're against the 360 or MS, it shouldn't affect you in any way if the game is on the system. especially since they have a different server! it just means more people to chat with about it!

I didn't say I was against it!!:O I just used to favor to the side of ps2 because it was the first console I bought with my own money!! So i tended to be defensive whenit came to PS2 v. Xbox, even if it was stupid, you can get pretty attached to something that doesn't have a conscious! But now that I have a PS2, Xbox, and 360, it doesn't matter to me, though I know Xbox 360 might have better graphics I'm getting it on Ps2 because the fact that 360 servers might be independent, and because PS2 was my favorite

DAGNABBIT! I really hope this isn't true, I hope its mis-information or rumor.

I will have to go back to PC PSU with a USB controller otherwise.
