Do Sonic Team even know about this? :S They normally update the servers regularly now but i'm guessing they haven't checked what the Gamecube's upto now while dealing with Universe & E3? :/

And this is the EXACT same crap that corrupted my Ep3 file (and I just got Legacy too).

They will know, Lee, since these hackers have altered server side data. It will have been audited in some form. And I can't remember the last time GC servers were updated

They're too bound up with BB to care about GC. Well, to be fair, they never did seem to care about GC.

So, either:

It is not important enough to be dealt with

They do not have the resources (human or other) to deal with the problem on GC because resources are spread thin in that area

They actually can't do anything about it

Your guess is as good as mine. You can bet it wasn't ST who made the lobbies like this in the first place though. Maybe theyre hoping someone will finally kill off GC so they can start spending money in other areas (let's face it the few people left who play GC can't be supporting ST with the funds they would consider worthwhile to keep the GC servers available).

Actually I doubt it's that dire, but you never know. Just hope that when they take to servers down to restore them they will do some much needed patching at the same time!

Well you say that, they've still got SEGA Dreamcast servers going though, and they updated the Gamecube servers last about 2 weeks ago They've done a surprising number on it imo, i wouldn't have expected them to bother with lobby decorations anymore but who am i to moan?

It was a bot that prevented people from logging on............ and ST actually patched it so ST actually did something....
