Ade was right on one part, I embody "iron-fisted authority", and that will not change, for PSO, at least.

For PSU, unless someone manages to reverse-engineer the game data, I will have to base my work on players' experience a lot more, so I'll probably be less of a jerk, but it's not a given =P

i have to aggree on both sides here. i think its unfair about the way u were talking about kef there though at same time i asked to help him at 1 point and he gave me a cheeky responce back. and i only tried to help aswell

on the other hand kef is mainly right about just about everythin tbh on pso fropm what iv seen so far. these drop charts etc are extreemly helpful for me. they dont make the drops any esier but at least i know which thing are pritty much impossible to get.

1 other thing id like to know is that how exactly does he access the game code. i trust him that he is getting into it but iv tried getting into it myself through hacking into the game etc. not to change anythin just to c what everythin is. even though iv tried loads i still cant get to c the code from the game.
reason i belive him about the code is because i can write in that programing language so i can understand just about what every bit of its sayin.. sometimes its complicated to look at though :S

it was Sounomi (surely, you remember her), she made the program to extract data herself, and never released it -- which is rather clever, in my opinion.
She reverse-engineered the whole game, all the data was extracted and compiled into guides or tables at her site, Housoka (which she now took down). Before taking down her site, she gave all her data to three people, eRUPT, former PSOW Admin, Omar and myself.

No, actually the data itself can be posted and has been in the item database on this very site. It's the method of obtaining that data which it is forbidden to post.

I never said it was in context. I only said that reading this topic made me remember it. And don't lie. It was a drunk manner, not a sarcastic one. About my siggy quotes, most of them are 3-4 line bits of AIM or PSO chats, and even if they don't have alot of context, you can get the idea.

Sephiroth, if you ever see an extremely objectable post, it is best to save a copy of it so you can have a non-edited version. I almost wish that posts could not be edited after someone has replied.

Thanks for clearing that up. But even so, I'm sure posting it in the comuter language core state would be fine if we didn't say how we got to that data pool or how we extracted that data.
