Well on the topic of Charge and Berserk... Vjaya's the only charge weapon I find acceptable really... the cost in mesta is enormous so you can't use it all the bloody time like other charge weapons. It's currently the only charge weapon I'll use.

Plus it's generally not for n00bs, as half of them can't figure out that it drains meseta whether you hit something or not... then they swing it around and drain all their meseta so they can't use it anymore...
Well, at least in theory, but n00bs don't use Vjayas anyway. They use haXx0red TJSes. Shame, that.

(I'd find it funny to see them drain it all like that)

it drains meseta for an increased damage output. it is a form of charge, but not charge. its uber charge

lol, i think its charge as its more safer more chance of hitting it on mechs with 40+ hit it owns. the only beserk wep i would use is the zamba as that just rocks.... (i have just posted this with only looking at the last 3 posts)

Well Vjaya's special may not be Charge... but it doesn't have an actual name so Charge is the closest thing to it... so I still call it a Charge weapon.
Technicalities aside... Nomad pointed out its biggest difference other than costing you around 50 times the Mesta per swing... the fact that it costs you that regardless of whether you hit something or not...
Who knows what an acceptable name for the Vjaya's special would be.

Same as "Orotiagito's special" or "the Lavis special", etc.
In other news, I think one of the next S-Rank Needles I get will be Spirit. >_> Even if it happens to not work well, it will atleast be unique.

It won't work well because Spirit Needle will eat your TP gauge in the blink of an eye, and you can only carry so many fluids.
Using a Geist weapon won't make it any better, because leeching TP wastes time, and you'd be faster not using Spirit at all, in the end.
