Frustrating drops?

I'm sure everyone's always had some sort of rare item they've had their eye on, who've spent countless button mashing and telepiping, looking for the nice red box, or that rare enemy.

Swords swing, bullets fly, lightning strikes, and poof, a red box when the madness calms down. You think you saw it come from that monster you were hunting, and you get excited, you run up to it! And it's!...not what you wanted at all T_T

Well we all feel your pain, as I'm sure you've all had that happen at least once =P So share your experiences with frustrating drops (Be it frustrating drops that appeared to come from one enemy, but really came from another, or a frustrating non-rare drop from that rare enemy that took so long to pipe.)

My most recent mishap, occured some time ago, just before I left pso for a long time. I was doing Retired hunter runs, and as I was clearing the last room, I shot a Dark Bringer down, trapped far away on the other side of the big center thing xD As I continued to clear it, I notice a red box where the Dark Bringer fell! Naturally I'm excited as that means SPREAD NEEDLE! Woooooot! I ran to it, and it was a PHOTON DROP ><; I would have thrown my controller if I didn't know that I probably would have broken it....

can you say, DISKA OF BRAVEMAN? I can, I got about 30 in my bank, and that's just on my HU. So annoying...so annoying...so annoying...I still get them, but I don't pick them up. I see the Ult. Dragon drop a red box and I think SWEET. And it's just another DISKA OF BRAVEMAN...-.-;;;someone just...needs to kill whoever Braveman was...*slumps off*

the only annoying drops I've had were actually either enemy situations or crazy pipes in stupidity!
for one thing, I was so in love with a bazooka that all classes could use, so I spent a LONG time piping for a hildeblue with my HUnewearl, but never got one and gave up. so while running around in the hard forest with me and my bro's FOmars, we saw an Al rappy! and I was so happy! finally, a...Dimate!
the next time was pretty silly, and a huge mistae on my part. I really wanted an Electro frame, so my HUnewearl and my bro's RAmar went to the Ultimate temple together to pipe a Love Rappy. we found one! yay! but it ran away before I could get it...really silly on me!
the next time we saw the Love Rappy, we got it! shiny red box, woohoo! too bad we accidentally made my bro's Greenill RAmar the leader! God/Luck is good, but its not what I was looking for...I was all disappointed and everything, and my bro goes, "...can I keep it?"
and then there was that time in the second to last room of forest 2 in multi mode with my HUnewearl and my bro's RAmar, and through all the confusion and battles, we see a Pal Rappy get up and run away! we were like, "when in the hell did we kill that?!" so no rare!
and that's it! I'm sad now from remembering these not too awful situations.

My most annoying drops are box ones, because I dont want them at all! Or Justys, I just get millions of them. None with Hit either

As for annoying one I cant get...Yasha. 'Nuff said.

Dolmolms hate my RAmar. They have yet to ever drop him an MKB. ;[

I haven't actually got a hunted item in quite awhile... the vast bulk of my new items are trades, which I got for other items that I DID find (that others apparently wanted o.o).
