No, I wont say there a waste of time at all. You have the choice to wield some of the most powerful weapons in the game, which you can also name youself. Although the can be hard to get, they are worth it in the long run in my opionion.

I wouldnt go as far to say most powerful in the game... But they are pretty bad ass; You get to name them, and theyre free!

The best S-Ranks aaaaaaaaare ...
- S-Rank Sword; 200 Base ATP +250 Grind
- S-Rank Twin; 50 Base ATP +250 Grind
- S-Rank Mech; 10-110 Base ATP + erm... :p Dunno...

I cant remember the Grind limit on the Mechs... but its kinda dodgy, Imagine if you just completed C-Mode and you only got a +10 Base ATP Mechgun! That would suck ><

it is a weapon u get by beating c mode online under 7 hours. u get the choice of one s rank weapon, and u can name the first part, e.g: Ton's Twin zero's sword. the second part is based on the weapon. i think. i want one very bady, but cant play online.

so any way which ones should i attempt to get the twin mechs blade etc.

Theyre good, Orphen uses his own custom made twin, and as for the S rank twins, maximum grinded, they are the strongest non-ranger mechguns in existence.
