ok this is being anoyin now i've been on offline mode for at least 70 levels alltogether and never found a red box "never" i have been online mode and during that time i manage to find 2 red drops i lved from lv 30-45 roughly.
i am now lv 86 humar purpelum so does it affect being offline or online if u can find rare boxes (red). thanks
ps. also i am playing on xbox pso ep.1&2

not at all. if you want red boxes, hang around in very hard mode. they drop like crazy, but its quite hard to get red boxes in normal and hard. v. hard is the place to go if you need a red box fix

The drop rate for them is the same, but there are more monsters online, so it's more likely that you'll find more red boxes online.

Well, I got DB'S Saber and the Brionac in hard mode, while I was an Oran, so I dunno what to tell you.

Well I've never found a rare item and my guy's level 98 and i'm usually in ultimate offline but I have hacked items and anti hacker says that that affects rare drop rates so i don't whether to ditch my hacked stuff or not find rare items. :ponder:

The hacked mag will affect drop rates. Other hacked items probably won't. The game seems savvy about picking out "impossible" items.

ok i guess I'll dump the mag after a while and this answers my question from the other thread. But if hacked items don't affect rare drop rate why should I get rid of my weapons? :S

Because it makes you illegit, and means few, if any players from this forum will want to play online with you.
