SO who here still plays PSO on GC?

The Scht forums ARE incredibly useful for staying in touch, particularly if you don't use AIM. But yeah, if you're going to post there take everything there with as much skepticism as you would a post on GameFAQs... or PSOW for that matter. And be ready for flamethrowers if you post a thread containing anything clearly biased and/or unresearched that involves illegitimacy (i.e. "OMG Y DO HAKRZ HAK? LOL IT R POINTLESS"). They have a sore spot for that. :S

I still play PSO for cube a lot just so that i'm not board or anything. Lol.

I still play on gc ep. 1&2 plus. I just got back online yesterday. I also got hacked yesterday though.:'(

Haxed is no fun. Anti reccomends you read this:

"FSOD: This will (unless in the lobby) erase all you un-equipped and non-banked items/meseta. If in a lobby, you will only lose meseta.

Avoid method: Password protect your games, play only with those you trust, only enter empty ships/blocks/lobbies.

FSODX: Activated by code or WS-FSOD, this will occur only during a double save. For example; someone will activate an FSOD in between the double-save as you enter a game, you will freeze and this will result in instant corruption.

Avoid: Make your own games, do not join others games unless you trust the players 100%. If you are the first person into a game, there's no one in the game to corrupt you upon entry - get it?

Server corruption: Sometimes if you accidentally try to connect to the old 50hz servers which no longer exist (thanks a bunch to ST) you will be corrupted as you disconnect. It doesn't seem to happen all the time, and as far as I know it's random.

Avoid: Get a 60hz TV, and make sure you're running 60hz every time you play

BSOD:

Happens online and offline. The screen will turn black and you will still hear sound, no annoying 'BZZZZZZT!' trademark of FSOD.

Avoid/fix: For offline BSOD (Occurs either when entering a telepipe or when changing location on P2 so the music changes, e.g. main street to shop) open the disc cover, give the disc a little spin and then close the lid. Your cube will *whirr* back into life. It's magic..."

It covers some things.

I play online occasionally but not on hacked ST servers.

Been playing on and off since the DC days. Been thinking about, when I get some more cash, picking up a GC with the PSO games and a BBA. Still not sure though.

Wouldnt mind getting the chance to play with some of you guys though

I was hacked (or as anti hacker called it before character data modded) by a guy named xXphinXx so if someone like that joins your party I suggest quiting immediatly. I was pretty ticked off so I know how it feels. Oh and if it suddenly turns to challenge mode and monsters don't pop up I think shutting off the cube will keep your level high. To bad i didn't think of that when it happened to me :| .
