Animal Crossing is supposed to be really cool, wouldn't know though because it never got released in th UK, me and my bro really wanted that game...

Yer, i think there were millions who thought the same!! I just can't understand why they never did! Besides everyone that i know (Actually know personally, not over Forums/MSN, etc.) who wanted to play this game, has indeed imported an american version of the game, and they've all said it's constantly a brilliant game all year round! I've just never myself seen the attraction of the game...o well, i'm sure if it was actually released here my mind would probabily have changed!

AC is a great game. It's like real life but in cute/paradise form :p.....so it's not like real life then -.-

I imported it for someone. It was really good. Nintendo of Europe lost TONS of money by not releasing this game in Europe. They were incredibly stupid. Instead, people bought it from NOA giving them the money, and then NOE (practically) gave money to Datel because people needed something to play USA games on PAL machines, hence Freeloader.
It really has been Datel's year, all thanks to NOE. They didn't release a keyboard, so Datel provided one. They didn't release key games here, so people bought them from NOA and got Freeloader. And some people got AR because they wanted PSO III. NOE are stupid, and NOJ is foolish for not helping NOE by not helping release the games here.

Datel have made a fortune, and i reckon poor old Europe (i.e. us) have got the short straw because Nintendo of Europe seem somewhat out-of-date compared to other continents especially when looking at selling strategies...and making money!! How much advertising have you seen from Nintendo of Europe...very little when compared to other consoles. they're not gonna sell if people don't know about 'em!

As for the Freeloader, i don't think Nintendo of Europe so much as gave Datel money for it, as wanted to gain from them for it! Nintendo of Europe have really been trying their hardest recently in trying to cut down on imports, especially games like Animal Crossing. It's like they don't want us to play it at all!! Some websites have been contacted by Nintendo of Europe personally for providing Europe with non-PAL games, and have had to stop Nintendo Gamecube imports/exports! But as you can see from what many have said, their approach to stopping imports is about as good as their out-of-date marketing strategies!!

Nintendo of Europe confirms releases dates for Pokemon Channel (2nd April), Pokemon Colosseum (19th May), and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (18th June). If you like Pokemon, start saving! ^_^
