It's Here! PSU European Release Date Confirmed by SEGA Europe! <img src="/images/PSU.jpg" alt="PSU" width="8" height="8">

<IMG alt="Phantasy Star Universe" hspace=0 src="/uploads/ragol_psulogo.gif" align=baseline border=1>SEGA of Europe have today confirmed the release date for Phantasy Star Universe in Europe (PAL Encoded)!The magic date you need to note down is 24th November 2006! The date has been posted officially on <A href="http://www.sega-europe.com/en/Game/176.htm">SEGA Europe's website</A>, and it should be noted that it doesn't specify a date per platform, meaning that all three versions of PSU are to be released at the sametime across PlayStation2, PC & Xbox360? Quite possibly... The game when it was last seen at the Leizpig games conference in Germany for Xbox360 was far through the development process, so the delay for the games release in Europe (A month after America's release comes) could sit well for Xbox360 owners who can't wait to start breaking out some achivement points for their gamercards!Be sure to Pre-Order the game now so you don't miss out when the time comes! Prices shown above may change when delivery is added on.Looking at the prices shown above, it's interesting to see that the PS2 version is selling at an SRP of Â£24.99 - Â£29.99 (With new games normally at RRP Â£34.99 - Â£39.99) and that the Xbox360 version is also selling at a Â£10 below normal price selling at an SRP of Â£39.99 (With new games retailing at RRP Â£49.99). The PC version isn't at an all bad price either! Does this mean that SEGA Europe have decided on a cheaper pricing strategy to hook people into a longer Guardians (A.k.a. Hunters) License account to make the difference back? Maybe, but the cheaper the better from where i'm sitting!Websites also state as thought above that the Xbox360 version of the title is being released on the same date as the PS2 & PC version. Gotta love how the PC versions of games are always cheapest. Plus... I think either a keyboard, or my gamepad will allow PSU to flow very nicely. (When's the North American release date again anyways? XD)

I'm not buying a 360 purely for PSU Sad

Still i'll just use my pad for PC version - I do hope most of the regulars are going for PC rather than 360!

Well Ive had my 360 for a while now anyway plus, my PC is nowhere near capable of running Maplestory, let alone PSU. Tongue

oh, yipeeeeeee! I'm getting it on or near the US release date though (Oct. 24th) being as I live in the US, but I'm getting it for PC also. I just can't wait! and gawrsh, its already October 1st!
