Hello..if you can't already tell, I need help now!!! I've been on PSO for a while, but in between my Hunters license expiration we've switched to DSL....I got my BBA, and I paid for my Hunters License via PSO explorer, as I have been since I started on GCN....now I can connect...as far as the screen that tells about "Minhiro" and your Hunters License expiration....but when I press A nothing happens...and the ship select doesn't show up....eventually the connection times out from no action....Anybody have any way to help?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Once I get back online I'll gladly play!!
currently my main character "Ebb" is at lvl 67, but I'm a slow leveler lol...I need the lvls badly!!!

hmmmmm. Very confusing. I guess if it's showing the Minhiro screen, it's connected. Unless the Minhiro screen is stored on the PSO disc, in which case it might not be connecting at all to a server, and displaying the message anyway.... I guess it's connecting though. Have you tried connecting to the homepage from the Main Menu?
Maybe you've got a time out set up on your BBA. Try looking in the network options.
How have you set your GC up? Through a router/switch/hub, ICS, direct connection?

It could be a problem. It's strange that's its connecting. So I'm going to state the obvious, but it's probably at your end. If others can connect.
It might not like how a GC connects to your ISP (not enough protocols are adhered too), I really don't know. It therefore rejects your connection...
Sorry
d-dude.... never been called that :p

decs is fine

. Not dex though >_<.

If everything right and it's connecting as you say, I have no idea... is it a new game? Pre-owned? Try looking for some sort of time out in game. And try connecting it to a PC via a network card or by a router. Something that stops the GC connecting directly to the modem.

I'm not sure, how could I tell? It's an ethernet cable if thats what you mean....
PS: Decs, what do you mean look for a time out in game? and also, what do you want me to connect when you say....."And try connecting it to a PC via a network card or by a router. Something that stops the GC connecting directly to the modem." I don't understand what you mean..... I wanted to get a wireless router...but they are extremely expensive n.n; and I'm only 14...money like that doesn't come around too often....a reliable one seems to be at least $100 US...sorry I don't know what that equates to in Euros though.....
Thanks for all the help so far!!
