Framerate is the number of frames being displayed, for example a framerate of 60 fps means that 60 frames are being displayed per second. The higher the better here.

Frameskip is the number of frames that are being skipped - if frameskip is set to 1 every other frame will be skipped (hence only half the frames will be displayed). The lower the better here, generally, although you will have to set it higher if your computer cannot handle a lower frameskip setting.

I've got a PSU PC question, in case anyone can answer it!
I got PSU for my PC, but needed to wait till it came out until I'd figure out what I need to play it in terms of urgrades. It won't run now due to....various things, so I looked on the site in the troubleshooting section, which says that "Some laptop or notebook computers may not run the game properly, even if they meet the same system settings as a comparable desktop computer. " Now, my Cal is a laptop, and I want to know: Has anyone tried, suceeded, or failed in running PSU on a laptop? If so, then...well, i just don't know what...

Im running PSU on a laptop, I should be able to run full spec, but my laptop will only run at lowest spec. Its more than likely your graphics/display adapter as mobile graphics cards are normally dodgy and run from system memory. I know some gforce cards refuse to play PSU. what graphics card do you have??

Oh, yay! So there is a chance in life, thank you happy fun time!
Anyway, don't worry- I have no idea what my graphics card is, but I know it among many other things may not work for PSU. I've never played anything on this computer, and have never really worried about its systemy stuff, so I've got a lot of figuring out to do!
Oh, well! Off to the magical land of my brother's PS2!!!

Yeah... I miss my old connection speed... was 2.5mbps down 256k up.
Now its 1.5mbps down, 512k up...
