Starburst Next to name

My son is Lvl 17, Online, and all of a sudden a little Starburst flashing thing to the left side of his name appearred. What does this mean?

its his lucky day! now and then those will appear to give groups of people luck.
luck = better drops i believe.

If you go on PSUpedia, you can check which race/gender combo has luck for that day.

EDIT: Ok that link appears to be wrong, anyone have any idea what it's meant to be?

Anyway, the starburst next to your name indicates that you have level 3 luck - the highest level. This supposedly affects item drops, weapon grinding, rare enemy appearance rates and also critical hits, apparently.

The luck level 3 and the luck level 2 effect everything that invovles luck in the game! like you would normally need luck to do.

Level 1 luck effects everything too, i've had a few days with level 1 luck and i've found rappehs, synths have been more succesful, never failed a grind and i've found rare items alot more often with just level 1.

oh wow cos i had it next to my name on the beta and foudn some rares then the next day i didnt have it but some others did we didnt know what it was and were truely puzzled thx for the help i cant wait until its out here
