Battle mode rule#1 Query...

Ok....a few days ago i found what i call the best armor in pso ver.2....the sacred cloth with 1 slot
there are 2 diferent things i must consider....the normal gameplay and battle mode
-on normal gameplay i use a sense plate 3 slots with 1 god battle and 2 perfect resistst, i see traps (armor), i atack fast and i have a hig resistance to techs (52/52/52/42/47), well the sacred cloth is not so good as i expected; in vhard the sacred cloth combined with deband makes my def go above 1000 making me untouchable to any criature phisical atacks, the sense plate is good because i can see traps and def is something i do not need in vhard.
on ultimate i rarely get hit on forest/caves and the 3 first bosses, in the mines i get hitted by sinows and on ruins i get hitted often, but even on ruins i do not use deband (waste of tp in my opinion), i basicly use the def i got.
the problem with the sacred cloth is the lack of trap vision and the lack of slots, resistances i do not like to lose and trap vissions are not as usefull as an armor (see all the traps), basicly i am the best in skill, so the armor is not what i need to become better.
- then comes batle mode, in this mode you fight against other players.....well, imagine this situation, 2 players one with skill (me) and another with stats (def and evp), i can win but it will be very hard even for me to hit the enemy and the enemy will hit me easily due to low def and average evp, to even the odds i equip the rare armor increasing drasticly the def, but i also lose some stuff so my questions are to see what to chose in batle mode.....make comments also (opinions)
1- what is the char that you see more on b.mode?
2- what is the char that you see less on batle mode?
3- are traps usefull in b.mode?
4- are techs usefull in batle mode? if so witch is used the most/wich is used less often?

depends. rangers=bad, HUcasts and fonewearls=good. generally speaking, character extremes is best (so, RAmar,HUcast and FOney. ATA isnt needed, so just HUcast and FOney)

RAcl, HUney, RAmarl, etc.

3- are traps usefull in b.mode?

yes. barta type to freeze, or if a FOney, zonde is king- dont need to target/be facing where they are, just press it and they get owned foie is used least often, megid and grants normally work well as well.

yes. barta type to freeze, or if a FOney, zonde is king- dont need to target/be facing where they are, just press it and they get owned foie is used least often, megid and grants normally work well as well.

but are there amny traps in batle mode, do they do an insane damage?

traps suck in C mode. or at least, the damage ones do.

thank god % do not affect in batle mode
booma.....900 hp right........hummm i do 1100 hard and 1800 c.hard (1 hit kill) with my handgun

Yep, they are, but if I remember right, in Version2, you can just cast any level of Shifta and Deband to remove Jellen and Zalure. HUmars could also cast Shifta and Deband.

(You can also cast Shifta and Deband to cancel out a higher level of Shifta and Deband. My MAG did that to me on boss battles and it was exceedingly annoying. It's all fixed in Version3 )

if i use 2perfect resist with my sense plate the force techs will do less 52% damage
my humar has also +1600 hp so i am safe from dying.
and basicly no person can beat me......i am way too fast and precise for anyone (all the movies i have do not show a gameplay like me)
