That was my plan but this isn't MY idea so it might be better for Faulkie to 'set the scene'.

Although I was thinking if I started, maybe it could be the twisted Kraft who forces the other hunters to fight each other. I'd love to start and I have lots of ideas but let's see what Faulkie has to say!

sry for double post but the story line could be everyone takes a simple misisons and get implated with a bug which makest hem think the other hunters are bad guys and they do it fight each other but then somehow find out whats goign of well jus the 5 or w/e of us then we all need to band to getter and figth a greater evil to free all the other hunters and also in teh final battle everyone can do all there own accoutns from the real one which could be up so you know who much each person varies it.......... what do you think? + any other ideas?

Kraft could have been involved in the design, creation or implementation of the bug - for example. Plus I love to write as a bad guy.

I'm not sure everyone understood what I meant. :/ A bit late to be addressing these problems really.

Let's take 1, 2 and 3 as different parts of the timeline.

I think what you're all thinking is that Person A writes a bit, then person B takes over, then person C etc.

So it's like A1 B2 C3 etc.

But what I meant is that everyone writes their part of the WHOLE story.

So it's like A123 B123 C123 etc.

Get it?

Before you start shouting at me, it won't get repetitive because each person has a different story pretty much, it just overlaps.

THEREFORE we can all write our bits at the same time. As long as you talk to whoever you're crossing over with first to settle on the events, we don't need someone to "start".

Anti you've probably never seen good internet RP, when you get people who're good and can feed off of each other gross-over description is somtimes a gross simplification of the things described. Ours are any wayz. And ours usually involves clan wars and the like. Forum RP is where the n00bs usually lurk. Just saying.

As it stands Faulkie, that will be impossible. Just start a post. Other characters will make an introductory post and then we'll get started. Post order is a must in these things. If it all boils down to it, make me go last since I leave school at 2:00 EST and I'll only have an hour and ten minutes to write up a post. That won't be long enough for me.

It's no fun without the involvement and perspectives of others though. I would be correct in saying that I think. And besides. Along a larger story arc someone would have already had to have made the base story off which the rest would be based. Otherwise contradictions will arise...

I'm with EkwEE. Faulkie, since no one here is a mind reader, it's impossible to do what you suggest. We can't have anyone intereact with any other character without that other character becoming specifically involved. Otherwise you'll end up with one person writing something noteable and everyone else NOT making sense!

And if as you suggest people should take over from other people and use their characters, you'll get people downplaying other peoples characters. Also if you have to take over from someone esle which is a good idea, you have to let someone start or there's nothing for anyone to take over from and again you end up with mess!

We could write sections offline and post them up here, then the next person takes over, writes their section and puts it up. But it all has to be put up or you get a series of unrelated events!

Why are you all finding this so difficult? How will it not work?

Before I start writing my bit I talk to, say Ross and say that at the beginning we're fighting or something. Then I talk to, say Anti and say that after X amount of time we team up for a set amount of time, etc. When all these meetings are clear, we all go off and write our parts. As long as we spoke to each other correctly, it should all fit in perfectly.
