[Poo Fly]

i sketched a weird alien! influenced by a a sketch entitled brain stealer on deviant art, and the striders from dark crystal. but when i finished it, there was something all too familiar about it which didnt fit into the influences :S its quite odd to say the least :3

its supposed to have a sort of grown, bony armout to its head, arms and legs, as a sort of natural defence to counter the soft fleshiness of the rest of it. i imagine it would move quite quickly and silently if need be, with the ability to let out an ear peircing shriek.
i've always found the really long limbed creatures scarier

hehe, i'd like to create a picture that is truly terrifying. but i dont believe thats possible. or someone else would have beat me to it :p

and thanks kits ^^ its a cloud i found whilst browsing ebay ;3 too cute not to use, and its not too far away from christmas. for those that remember my christmas kitty avatar will be making a reappearrance soon maybe my christmas signature too!

About a year ago, a friend of mine boasted that he bought a sephiroth model from ebay, the one i was after for a while, when it arrived it turned out to be a cast of the original, missing the bangs altogether, poorly made and boasted worst paintjob in the history of paintjobs. everytime i saw that sephiroth from then i just cringed, until i finally snapped and offered to do him up for my friend.
i sculpted new bangs and cleaned up what little i could from the bad assembly. one new coat of paint later and he's looking great! i dont wanna give it back now! :p (my friend went and lost the masamune blade >.< )

ALSO! i finally got around to taking a picture of a delsaber model i made about two years ago, it's not too good but its related to the modelly theme of the post ^_^

Neat. You're a very skilled model maker/painter, Poo Fly. Who's Sephiroth? Never heard of him .

Mmm, Delsaber! Its left arm is... close enough. It'd be so cool to have an internal light in it so that its blade and ribs bit can glow the way it does in the game!

Very... spiffy's a good word for it Poo Fly. XD That's a very nice patch-up job for the "Mama's boy". XD The Delsaber looks okay too, the hands really give away what it is to me.
