I just had a thought. When Purchasing a Guardians License does the PlaySega site ask which platform said license is for.
If not can you use the same guardians license/characters on both the PC version and the Playstation2 version?? Im using PC at the moment but I may decide to get the playstation version in the future to play with friends when they come over (Seperate Guardians License for this purpose).
Would be cool if I didnt have to start a new character if/when I do gt the PS2 version.
Any Thoughts?

Looking around the PSU Support Section it does seem that you would be able to play on both platforms with the same License. But I personally would contact Sega directly to confirm this.

Your GUARDIANS License will be uniquely tied to the Game ID you used to initially purchase it, and cannot be shifted to a new Game ID, or to a Gamer Tag. However, there are benefits to having your GUARDIANS License uniquely tied to your Game ID. This means all your character data is saved on our servers, so you'll be able to carry your Game ID information on a memory card, and plug and play that baby at your friend's house, your friend's friend's house, or even a random stranger's house! (Note: We cannot be held responsible for you breaking and entering some random guy's house to test this out!)

What is a Game ID? Is it interchangeable with a Gamer Tag?
The Game ID is for PC and PS2 users. You can grab one from PlaySega.com, and use it to play on both the PC and PS2. PSO BB users can also use their old Game ID to purchase a GUARDIANS License.

Gamer Tags are created when you set up your Xbox Live account. Both Silver and Gold Xbox Live accounts can purchase a GUARDIANS License.

ATTENTION Please note, though, that PC/PS2 users cannot use their GUARDIANS License on Xbox 360 accounts, and you cannot use a Gamer Tag with your PS2/PC account.

While you can use ps2 or pc, i don't think at the same time if that's what you meant, never seen an on-line game where you can sign into an account at the same time as someone else. So if your friends came round they would need their own licence to sign in on your ps2 if you were on your pc, someone should try that out though:S

This much I am certain of. This is a safety measure to protect against account hacking etc.

I know that my friends would need there own GL. I was just wondering if My GL would work on both systems. So when lets sayt other family members were using the PC, i could just log in with my PS2.
Im pretty sure that would work.

The answer to your question is yes. I play on my PS2 at home and on my friends PC when I'm over at his place with the same license. So you can use the same account for both versions, just not at the same time.
