Tenacious D - The Pick of Destiny
#1
ZOMFG! I haven't been to a cinema in ages, and now recently i've been twice in the space of two weeks? First Casino Royale, essential viewing, and now this! Again... it had to be essential viewage, and it was!

All fans of the D (Which must surely be everyone) MUST WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! It's one of the funniest films ever, mainly it's just because it's Tenacious D, but also just because of everything that happens in it (Which, kinda goes without saying lol).

If Tenacious D wasn't enough it's also got Meatloaf and Dave Grohl included, and it's just F**kin' AMAZING!

Watch now if not already watched!

That is all... goodbye now and buy your tickets Tongue (Then come back here!)

saw it now, it was great Big Grin
if you've seen the original HBO episodes tenacious D did years ago ( or on their dvd :3 ) you'll notice some pretty obvious tributes to that, hell its pretty much all a tribute to those! and those new songs are amazing too Smile
always felt sorry for kyle gass, jack black overshadows him massively in celebrity status, through all those movies before this one. but fear not Kage! your No.1 to me!
now to get the album!

I just need to know 1 thing: At any point during the movie is "the greatest song in the world" played?

Hehe, yes it is! You get to hear the greatest song ever made in this film, though at the end of it they forget what they played, and hence it leads onto their first album!

And like Poo Fly said, if you've seen the DVD shows they did for America or even heard the first album, a lot of stuff starts to come together and you'll be like "aaaaah!"

I saw it yesterday. Awesome film! Some critics... ahhhh, someone needs to critic the critics and make them feel like the horribly lame excuses for human beings that they often are!
