Offline Storymode Help

is there a way to quit a mission in story mode, im at a bit where i saved with not a lot of monomate, dimate and havent got a wand type weapon to attach resta to. so get my ass kicked by the volz brothers in chapter six, wanna go on free missions to try and level.
please tell me there is or ill have to throw my copy of psu out the window!!

If you backtrack enough you can usually just go back to the city. Thus allowing you to properly restock and beat them Vols up good. XD

when i try to go back one of my party normally shouts "wanna go back when we've come this far!!" i thought it wouldnt let me go back.

You'll just have to keep trying. And next time try harder to train.

didnt seem to have this problem, but its happened to me in like everyother game i have played, just keep trying at it, find a way which hurts them a lot more than you, and master it :p you'll get them at somepoint, as for afterwards, do the same thing, but look for places you could get the enemies and stuff stuck. and shoot them :3
there'll always be a way past it, restarting over is a nono

Sit around till all your PP is recharged. The easiest way to kill the Vols is to run about for a bit until they're all over the place, then run up to Hiru (the force.)

Then repeatedly Rising Strike him, or use fists on him (that way he can't get a tech off on you)

Repeat until dead.

Then get the big one, then the mexican looking ranger guy.

Piece of cake.

It's all a case of killing Hiru first, the other two are easy then.

Don't forget that if a team mate dies, they'll revive after a while, and it has no impact on your mission ranking at all. Feel free to throw them to the wolves once in a while if it keeps you alive.

That'll happen sometimes, so just keep trying! Make sure you feel nice and comfy before you start a mission, and keep at it 'till its toast! Reigast posted a nice strategy there for your situation, so just try that and any other thoughts and kick their butts!

Be careful of Hiru's TECHNICs, they can be devastating if your level is too low. Dodge them at all costs. Same goes for the ranger Vol's bullets. If you can, beat Hiru quickly with melee, then go for the other two ranged.

Any hints on the Grina Beat's after the Vols. They seem to kill me quite quickly (ok so im a fashion freak and spent all my meseta on clothes instead of weapons T.T)

Edit: Managed to do it by keeping one at a time stuck against the wall while i shot it to death. Rince repeat <3
