gameplay speed and P.servers

i gave away PSU to a friend of mine, he asked if he could play for free, is that possible? is there private servers?

another thing is the speed, he has a powerfull laptop, he raised the graphics to the max and the game was running a bit slow (like in slow motion), so if he is playing with you ragol members, what will happen if "slow and fast games" collide?

also he payed the fee, he will be online soon, if any of you see him, say hi for me , his name is havoc

Theres no Private servers to my knowledge, and to be honest, i hope there won't be.

If he's running slow, in a game where everyone else is going fine, he'll just be slower. might be a problem with some people, as they might rush ahead and kill everything. lowering the settings would be the best idea :3

Yeah, if he has the graphics settings up too high then he'll be left in the dust online. Especially since online is even more CPU demanding and he will go even slower. Offline I can have my graphics very close to cranked up to max (just gotta lower the Frame Skip to 1), whereas online I need to put it on low-end graphics... the only problem is the slight additional fuzziness in my screenshots, that's about it. XD

There ARE private servers being worked on, but of course they are complete illegal, and now that Sega's actually patching the hacking, I don't feel obligated to go to other servers. I'm quite willing to pay the fee since the customer service is actually being somewhat provided this time. Unlike the GCN PSO servers.

I already lowered everything my game runs fine now, it would run fine anyway if my graphic card wasnt such a ****. Anyway, im enjoying the game a lot, although its a little expensive to play.

Is discussion of private servers, or enquiring about them banned on this site? Especially as we may now have SEGA watching over the odd thread!

If you are looking for a private server, no one here can help you Havoc. SEGA sets the GL fee, not the community

Feel free to talk about computer specs, and probably even to talk about the idea of private servers. But don't attempt to locate any of them (if indeed they exist) through this site.

Sega actually did something right quite recently anyways... XD They're most recent patch pulverized all the most commonly used cheating devices. XD Take THAT ya lousy script kiddies!

Also... PSU would run a lot better if Sega's programming on the PC port wasn't so horrible... =>.>= My Lappy far exceeds recommended requirements yet I have to run it on near minimum because of the lousy porting job. Thankfully I don't care about graphics. XD
