The Cruel Coincidence of Fate and Evil Stuff!

Yes, I never thought I'd ever need to say this, but my life (or Leonoxe's life at least!) is in SEGA's possibly capable hands! My subscription was supposed to renew today, as it is a recurring subscription, and GUESS WHAT?! "There was a problem taking the payment for your subscription, and it has been put ON HOLD." I've tried resuming my subscription a few times tonight, but the same error just keeps on coming up!
Now, I do have separate characters on separate accounts, so this is a very odd issue. Every detal of both of these accounts is exactly the same; yet only onew of them is not working tonight! Poor Leo, I hope she survives!
I've just e-mailed SEGA through their official site, hoping they reply between now and... whatever the time limit is for character deletion on an inactive account. I don't want her to die, but it looks like my poor Leo is just about stuck at the crossroads of life and death! If nothing miraculous happens, or if SEGA isn't timely enough (SEGA... timely...ehe...)... Then I'll be sad. So I'm just telling you, Leonoxe may not be on for a while now... or, in the worst case scenario- EVER...

well, we all know how bad sonic team is for customer service :x
i think this is what happened to my blue burst account, but i let it go, and moved over to PSU then, so i didnt try renewing.

anyways, i believe the official word for characters lives, is that they are deleted after 60 days of no account. the same as on blue burst. BUT! on blue burst, they didnt stick to that, and i dont think a single account was ever deleted.
with PSU being bigger though, i could understand an inactive account might hinder them, but there is still hope! just keep pestering them, non stop!

Characters on inactive accounts get deleted?:O I feel so sorry for you! I hope your characters aren't deleted but while they are resting what character will you be using?
PSU Characters:
Jonny lvl 19 Human
And my brother's PSU characters:
Jason lvl 6 Human
Lord Jason lvl 4 Newman

Don't worry Kitsadoodles. The characters of an account "On hold" are deleted a few monts later, so don't worry about that.
The customer service isn't the best, but the people that works there do their job. I passed the same as you 2 or 3 times with BlueBurst, and always they reply to my e-mails and reactivate my account as soon as they can. Wait a response for today, or maybe for Monday, but in any case don't worry, because your characters won't be deleted Wink

PS: Make sure that you have money on our account. The 2 times that it happened to me, my credit card had not enough money to pay the subscription Tongue

Well, thanks for the reassuring thoughts guys! Still no response from SEGA, and I'm getting antsy not being able to use Leo for the beginning of the seasons of love! Anyway, I can almost assure myself that my account will not be deleted unless ST runs out of padded... mouses? And I know I do have money in my account, so this must be somehting else or just a problem on their end! I'll get over it... my doodled keep her out of her game-coma! Cool, game-coma! I like that!

Yup, there's no way a capable company could make new content for a game every week, run 60 servers on 3 platforms, excluding the JP servers, AND develop new games for various new consoles all the time.

No way at all.

Just don't forget that the grand majority of this materials was made before the release of PSU... so really they're just inserting pre-made stuff into the game. XD The clothes and everything are already in the game data, they merely need to adjust a couple variables so they become purchasable.

Sega has a lot of faults, there's no doubt about it... but at the very least they know how to make a really fun game. XD I'm never gonna call them a "good" company, they're merely satisfactory. They provide the game, but lack the individual customer service... to nearly an 100% degree... XD

But no MMO can really give the customer what they want, unless they employ the staff equal to the number of players. Which'd be kerazy.

Even WoW gets complaints about customer service.

and FFXI definately does.

Sega are a great company in my opinion. =]

Well, the EU branch do their job spiffingly, despite only releasing 3 copies of Ep 1&2 in england.

The customer service is there, whether you can see it or not. ;]

They're holding your character data for free for 60 days, are they not? and letting players play for free on the demo? =P

The new Sonic game blew though. >_> someone needs to blow up Sega of America and let our JP friends develop and write.

The customer service is useless. When people need tech support it's not there. I called in 6 times... SIX TIMES about a problem that was being caused by them, and not a single time did I get a straight answer... I send them e-mails they sent me a templated e-mail as a reply. All they looked at was the error number I reported, not my actual problem. I e-mail back saying that what they sent me had nothing to do with the problem... they send me the SAME e-mail back with maybe ten words altered.

They could do far better from a customer service perspective... far... far better.
