America's slipping further and further down the tubes daily At least most of you don't have to live here and go through this crap.

You know what the topic of the day has been for the past few years here in Mississippi? This is going to sound completely ridiculous....

How it is now: Food taxes are HIGHER than tobacco taxes.

People want to keep it that way - would rather pay less for their cigarettes than for their food, which is something EVERYBODY needs. It's ridiculous. Saw a guy on the local news last night talking about how it's absurd that people would want a lower food tax and higher cigarette tax, that it's just not possible and would never happen.

Also, another little fun Mississippi tidbit - our Guv'nah, Haley Barbour, sucks. He's a fat lying sack of... Pannon Jelly. There's a statewide fitness campaign commercial playing on TV all over the state, which has people in it, going up to go walk, at break on work, saying "Hey, lets go walking Mississippi!". Then his wife comes in his room with him reading a paper, she says "Haley, lets go walking!" He just looks at the camera, NOT EVEN STANDING UP, MIND YOU, and says "Yeah, lets go walking." ANd that's it. rofl

Anyway, I DO have a Tshirt, Poo Fly, that says "Canada" on the front with a big leaf, and on the back "Looking better every day".
