Theres no doubt that more will be coming out Im not sure if its true, but I think theres a Chocobo Racing game coming out. Its only a rumor though. Has any one else heard this?

What will they do next?
If u want my op.,Final Fantasy:Cristal Cronicles is realy s***(okay so I haven't played yet).I mean,they think gamecube is only for kids,when I heard about the FF:CC I thought it would be like FF 7 or FF 8,but no!Come with the "kid" games,won't you?

i for one would highly doub many other people are thinking of tht. i mean comon! everyone was saying, "oh great now zelda games are only for kids." when they saw the windwaker!, and now look at what their saying! It could be the 2003 game of the year! (or at least for gamecube) chill, it'll be a great game

Maybe,but a possible G.O.T.Y game is Soul Calibur 2.And i'm also waiting for the(Possible) Zelda with good graphics(Non cell-shaded s***) and Viewtifull Joe.

For all those Final Fantasy VII lovers out there, this article is for you! Although the report is kind of old, it makes the future look bright :

It's been quite a while since anyone truly "reported" anything about Final Fantasy VII. In reality, just another classic which was lost within the pages of time, but seriously not forgotten.

With Square flying left and right with various ideas bubbling inside their proverbial pot of goodies, it seems they'd love to get there fingers into a second Final Fantasy sequel and they're pointing their sights at Final Fantasy VII.

Many people will remember this emotional roller coaster as something of a true blue old timer in relation to some of today's more advanced model games. But Final Fantasy VII was a first for Square on many levels.

Some of these were the fact that it was the first time the company made a strong impression on the EU, with its highly strung values and attractive FMV sequences and all importantly, the story line which brought so many of us to tears.

IGN's news teams dived headfirst into the brain of one of the original Final Fantasy VII project directors, a Mr.Yoshinori Kitase, who gave out the following information.

IGN Reporter: "Are the rumors true about FFVII-2?"

Yoshinori Kitase: "A sequel to FFVII?" -laughs-
"In truth, there are many who'd like to make such a game, Nomura, who's working on Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, included. Many of the Square staff participated in the development of FFVII, and the memories are strong. Additionally, expressing the world of FFVII using today's technology would certainly be interesting -laughs-." "However, FFVII still has many fans, We couldn't make a bad product. -laughs-"

As emotionally attached to the game as Square is, they're even sceptical of their own work where this game goes. Its a golden road on which they want to retrace their steps perfectly. One false move and they could turn this newer game into a major disappointment.

Only one word is needed to summarise all of this, YAY! Most probably the best ever Final Fantasy game to be created, to come with a complete new storyline, improved graphics, amazing FMV movies and more! I simply cant wait. No news is yet saying what platform it will be on. Most unlikely for the Gamecube or X-Box. I'd buy a PS2 just for this game
