I've never played WoW, but I've played Runescape before. I wouldn't say it sucks, it just gets boring really quick.

I would pick Warcrack too, to try it out, because I've never played it. I found Runescape to be just awful.

I prefer PSO, but if you mean an MMORPG, then Ragnarok Online.

In the defense of Runescape, you can play it any place any time anywhere. It's a browser game. But still WoW is far better.

OK i know this thread is old and should be buried by now but i cant STAND world of warcraft. I refuse to play it out of princible. All i hear about at school is friggin "oh hows the new mount?" "oh its ok, but my ranger got pwnd by a mage and i lost 15 bronze and 32 silver" URGH MY GOD IT DRIVES ME NUTS! my friend even gave me the disk set and the burning crusade expansion but i havent even put the disks in my pc i dislike it that much.

Go rune scape! lvl99 hunter here i come!
