Does anyone know why or maybe have the same problem as not being able to chat in Blue Burst?? Yet Universe runs fine and I can chat in there?

Like I can activate the chat command in blue burst but I can't type. But everything is running smoothly in Universe, and it's rather awkward to not be able to talk during a game, and you can't even tell that you CAN'T talk.

How does this happen on a Dell Dimension e520 with windows vista home premium with an intel pentium 2 core duo processor at 4.26ghz with two gig of ram and a 256mb video card?

And yes, I've reinstalled Blue Burst several times in order to fix the problem .One thing I noticed though. Is that in Vista when i installed it, there were less patches downloaded compared to the XP build I installed it onto my computer downstairs. With my vista computer it only downloaded and installed 11 when I installed it. On my other build with XP, it downloaded the regular 36. Anyone know if that might have anything to do with it?

I love universe, but I love blue burst too so any help would be amazing! Thanks.

Probably the patching is the reason for it. When I first installed BB I couldn't even enter my username and password until I patched from the game, all 36 of them. After that t'was fine.

weird, this happened to me in a game b4, but it was more extreme, i could open the command window with the (`) button but i could only chat through that, i couldnt move my mouse, and my keyboard didnt respond, my friend had the same problem with the same game, and once he patched it it was fine, but not the same story for me T.T i had to quit THAT game to, but good luck to you first try patching, then try reinsalling, if that doesnt work, find updates for your mouse and keyboard, and do a windows update

a pentiun 2 with a duo core, 2 gb of ram......that seems good to me

Let it be known there's a difference between pentium 2 and intel pentium 2 core duo.

With a bunch of other's in between, here's the list that I know well.

Intel Celeron
Intel Pentium 2
Intel Pentium 3
Intel Pentium 4
Intel Pentium 4 with HT technology.
Intel Centrino with mobile technology.
Intel Pentium 2 Core Duo.

That is one of the most recent and fastest processors on the market right now. Deffinatly should not be confused with a Pentium 2. I don't think a pentium 2 could even support two gig of ram...
