Hi. For a long time iv loved Phantasy Star online and I was wondering if anybody still plays it online. I would get phantasy star universe but my computer just isnt good enough (...yet). I play PSO on the XBOX but i used to have it for both gamecube and dreamcast. I could get xbox live but i wanted to see if enough people played and if it was worth it.

Welcome to Ragol! you'll fit right in here.

Not too sure about xbox, but the GC and DC official servers were discontinued. Though you can still get onto the Schthack unofficial servers for free (the connection guide is in another thread) and thats where most people hang out these days. Including myself!

Its really easy to get onto the Scht servers on GC and DC, so I recommend you try to get them again!

well on xbox there are fewer player on pso, theres a comunity, but not as big as gamecube, bb or even dreamcast.
stchack server is the most popular one, i sometimes see xbox users online in the server, but it is a rare ocasion

y hai there, welcome to ragol. i say if your going to go online, go online with gamecube, from what i have seen on gamecube there are lots of people to have games with, i play gamecube online most days hope to see you there soon.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Well i just got a new job so im gonna get the gamecube pso very soon. Also about how much is it to take gamecube online?

Its free, but you need a BBA. They're going cheap now anyway so it shouldn't be too hard to find one...

if you need help finding a PSO for the GC, i recommend the 1 and 2 PLUS edition, it has some quests and weapons that previously were only available online heres a link to it http://www.amazon.com/Phantasy-Star-1-2-...179&sr=8-1 unfortunately, the price skyrocketed X.X i got it for 30 bucks a couple years ago

Hey, im pretty much in your boat. Im very experienced offline, and have played multiplayer offline with 3 friends for hundreds of hours, but am jusy beginning to move online. I was never keen to due to the dupes ruining it in my eyes.
