Worth Getting?
#21
Oh, don't get me wrong, you have made some very good points IL-nomercy. I meant for Xylen to try PSU before he makes up his/her mind. I tell you what I would have given up PSU completely on Ps2 if it wasn't for the good friends I have on it. I met them on pso a long time ago and they have continued to be very good pals of mine... I agree, the lag on ps2 is terrible at times. Lag on pso, however, was a lot less and a lot less annoying. The game can slow down horribly on ps2 psu. On 360 however it happens a lot less. I can't speak for pc. I still play pso online from time to time with some of my good friends, but they are happy with psu so it looks like I wont be giving up just yet. Smile

I can't speak for the online mode at all, but if it's anything like offline I seriously doubt I'll play it. I'll hang on with BB though. I agree that friends are what make the game fun, but when you get your ass kicked for the fiftieth time due to massive lag you start to think it's not worth it. And considering this is on offline, I'd hate to see how bad it is online, where everything is on a server.

I'd expect it to happen less on 360; It's a higher-level console. But the game wasn't made correctly for the 360, it's just the same game. No better graphics or anything.

Yeah, why oh why did Sega make it using ps2 hardware? Its crazy! The population on 360 is so much higher than on the ps2/pc. However, having said that I don't know about Japan. I'd imagine the ps2/pc population over there is higher than the 360. I don't blame you for sticking to BB, I loved it when I tried it out. I just had to go back to GC because my characters were at too high levels to ignore. Its a shame I never really had a go at ep 4. Sad

You could always hit up SCHT on Blue Burst. Granted the population on 360 may be higher, but don't forget 360 costs more to purchase, plus you'd have to pay to play online twice, I think. Once for Live, and once for Guardian's License. That would REALLY put me off doing it.

Well if you are talking about psu 360, you only pay for the Guardians license. A silver membership is needed only for psu.

As for BB, I think I will give it another go. I shall visit the SCHT website asap! Big Grin
