50hz / 60hz

I've been playing in the 60 Hz mode all my campaign on PSO on my GC and i chose to play in 50 Hz by mistake, it's really slow compared to 50 Hz..Dont like it. And now it's not giving me the screen where it gives me the option to choose to play in 50 or 60 Hz isn't coming up anymore!!

What's going on? Any advice?

had the same problem when making movies of my gameplay, i could only choose 50 hz, slow as hell and less smother.

i remeber one time i selected 50 hz while playing sonic adventure, there were 2 black stripes, 1 at down and 1 up and the game was slower.....turned the dc instantly........

Thats cool i didnt know you could change that. Does it seriously slow the game down?

for someone that is used to 60 hz 50 hz can be a pain, altought i found a way for pal dreamcast to be played on tv boards in the pc in full screen and colour, all it needs is an american version of gameshark.....(no codes are necessary)

No sweat. I've been through that problem before, and know how annoying it is.

@Lance813: 50HZ is a lower game format. Some TVs, especially older models, aren't built to support full 60HZ gaming. In the same way, some TVs aren't made to be ran on 50HZ, and you may notice the game will be black and white.
