What are your favorite weapons?

How so? I'd like to know a better way of using a FO class, since I tend to be bad at it.

my FOmars wep set (melee set up)

L&K 14 combats (100/0/0/100/40) (legat btw)
Holy ray (216 ATA with no hit ftw)
Red saber (35% hit ftw)

works well even in ruins, with a 30% holy ray i worked out that i will hit NHH 100% of the time

If you're offline: Just equip whatever boosts your Gi/Ra level techs and start blowing things up. Using Forces offline is easy.

If you're online: FOmar and FOmarl can do alright damage by simply relying on raw ATP from weapons and sacrificial specials (with Hit, of course). That's basic melee. What you don't want to do is to start beating things with wands and rods, just because they're Force weapons. It's just not going to work so well.

I'd carry one "Force" weapon for utility, and that's about it. Red Saber, Angry Fist, or something similar is a decent alternative, given its stats and speed, but things like mechguns, Soul Banish, and slicers are where your real power will lie.

FOnewearl...just isn't going to do raw damage, due to her horrible ATP. Her main strength that you'll want to utilize is her higher ATA. What this means is that you should take advantage of weapon specials like Demon's, Arrest, etc., should you choose to use weapons on her. You'll need very, very high Hit to do this well, so it's an all or nothing approach, really, but it can work.

If you simply don't have the gear to "melee" in that way, you still won't want to tech spam online, just because of the horrible cancel. Carry things with boosts, such as Striker of Chao, Madam's Parasol/Umbrella, and maybe something like Psycho Wand to reduce your TP costs, but don't use them to hit things unless you need to as a last resort. The worst thing you can do is to shoot for success with a FOnewearl who uses weapons for ATP-based damage. >_>

FOnewm is on the line, and can make use of some raw power, yet has the ATA to do some of what FOnewearl can do. Play him like a hybrid of the two styles. What all of them do have in common is the use of the techs. Just because you're using a weapon doesn't mean you should totally ignore your techs. They should be balanced. The main use of techs is to stun, freeze, or finish grounds of enemies; support techs should always be used, of course.

In essence, what I'm saying is...Force weapons don't have to be Force weapons. It can be anything that they can use that actually works. Psycho Wand could probably be an alright melee alternative, were it more practical to find one that any character could actually hit with. Stuff like Battle Verge and Brave Hammer...they're Force weapons, sure, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're better than something else. >.>

Azure PSO has some optimum equipmen suggestions, but more practical stuff that you'd get your hands on first really isn't listed. I'm super tired, and about to go to bed, so if any of this doesn't make sense, say so, and I'll try to clear it up tomorrow or something, perhaps while adding to this.

Being offline makes a huge difference when using weaponry on Forces. Offline, you can get by with just spamming techs. Online, you're wasting time doing so.

Tech spamming lets you kill everything, sure. But online you're in a team, which means other people want the exp too.
